Argos skateboard glitch 2 for £2.50!!

I have just typed in the cat number in Argos.co.uk and it now says :

It still there, I just followed the link from my reservation email which they failed to honour and it has now let me reserve 2 at a different local store which now has stock, again have a confirmation email with £2.50, even though the manager at the first store was adamant that the glitch was fixed!!

Just picked mine up from Cheshire Oaks. Lovely staff there, very customer friendly. The till wouldn't let me have them for £2.50, it kept adding a further discount of 63p. They tried a few times to correct it before they let me have them for £1.87.

Good spot Rainey, I also have just gone through my confirmation link and its showing stock at READING FORBURY if anyone wants to try their luck.

Just been to Reading Forbury, "it was an error on the internet and you shouldn't even get 50% that particular skateboard". Still 2 skateboards for £5.37 is hardly killing me considering I've made £125 from Currys and PC World over the last few days....

Got mine today. The SA didn't know what to do so she asked me to go to the Customer Service counter and, after a bit of tapping on various computers and a chat with the Manager, they sold them to me for £2.25 - so very pleased here :beer:

I am actually JUST emailing the head office about this because I had a similar problem, EXCEPT the manager told me I was no better than a common thief and I should be ashamed of myself for trying to take advantage of a company in the recession!!! :eek::mad::mad::mad:
Cannot tell you how MAD I was, but also how thoroughly ashamed I was too because the store was packed and he made me feel and look an inch tall. I doubt he would have had the courage to speak to a man like that!

Oh wow, some of the responses people got are what i was really scared about, im not the best at confrontation, so glad i got a decent store.

Got mine for £2.50, SA had to call a supervisor over who took my email to a computer & read something, then tried to adjust price but as with alot of you think it was trying to take off more. After about 10 mins was charge £2.50 for one and the other was put through as £0.00. I asked for the email back as had my work details on. Didnt want Argos to get to know me too well.

Thanks so much OP, have not decided whether family members will benefit from the bargain or whether my fundraising efforts. Maybe one for each. I'm very happy but sorry has not worked for everyone.
