today i spent £15 on gas, i saw on another forum that people are saying it is cheaper to leave your heating on low all day and night rather than turning it on when you feel cold as it costs more to keep heating the radiotors from cold, i have set my stat to a temp that is just right to keep the boys warm and will keep it like that for a few days to see if i notice the differnce and see how long my £15 will last. dont know if it will workfor me but worth a try i suppose.
hopefully should have enough petrol to last me to the end of the weekend not got plans to go far now, sunday is the school xmas fete as it was cancelled last week due to the snow so will take the boys there.
might have to buy some milk tomorrow and possibly bread over the weekend but that should be about it so hopefully i can have a couple of nsd which will be nice. :D
need to crack on with toluna and enter some more comps so will do that before i head off up to bed tonight!!

Can you fill the dent in the door with wood filler or polyfilla

Then sand it down and re-paint, it woudn't take you long to do it yourself

after having a proper look i should be able to fill it, asked neighbour to come and see if the handle could be put back on but he doesnt think so as it is buckled and the screw holes have worn so he said it was only a matter of time before it come off anyway. im sure i can pick up a handle quite cheap so not so stressed about that now :o

popped to the shops and managed to run in and out buying just the milk i needed otherwise i would of bought chocolate etc the way i was feeling earlier. :D
only spent £1 on milk from my purse today so a very low spend day for me which im pleased about.
need to start wrapping xmas pressies soon as kids finish school next week and the presents are stacked in the corner of my roon with a sheet over them so no doubt when they are at home in the day they will go sneaking and they arent exactly hard to find!!:p

been into town today but has basically been a nsd so far as what i bought is for my nan to give the boys for xmas as she cant get out at the moment so she will give me the money back when i see her.
been a low spend weekend, had kids school fete yesterday so spent about £6.00 there and bought some bread but that is about it.
i really need a new lawn mower and my grass desperatly needs cutting but i dont want to spend money i havent got.

  • afternoon diary,
well another nsd for me today :T
dropped pressies off to my nan and she gave me the money so i think i will keep that in my purse rather then putting it in the bank so i dont have to use my card for milk, bread etc.

need to check online banking and pay asda credit card and also see how much i can pay extra towards hsbc it might be only £1.00 but it will help i suposse.

have not been food shopping this week but as kids break up from school on friday i wont have to get the bits for their lunch boxes so hopefully that will save me a bit of money.

better go and check bank

  • just paid £40 to asda credit card and £5.00 to hsbc credit card.

hsbc cc is now under £400, only just but im really pleased!! :o

just need to keep throwing the odd £'s at hsbc as i can see it coming down, slowly but still coming down so at least im not adding to my debt anymore. :D

i only have £47.98 to last me till next week now but as i have £40 in my purse i will just use that and leave my debit card hidden in my cupboard for the week, might need petrol but see how long i can hold out for!!

so today has not turned out to be a nsd but at least ive knocked a bit more off my debt.

  • afternoon.
had to get a couple of presents for kids to give their dad for xmas so even though it meant spending more money im glad its done now.

just got to get my grandad a small bottle of whisky, a tub of choccies for friend, labels for pressies then im done.
so should only need to spend another £15 at most on christmas now.

really need to start wrapping pressies but really cant be bothered!!!

i still have £25.00 in my purse after todays spends and the petrol light hasnt come on yet so hopefully i can make it to the weekend, i put £20 in on sunday so im trying to keep it about £20 a week but with a 2 litre engine its not always that easy!!!

going to fill in some surveys whilst i can and enter some comps.
