  • Hi fizzypops
I was trying to get loads of cleaning done, but sat and watched Harry potter instead.

Well done for getting back into the comping its something i should do as well.
  • i must admit i did find myself sat down a few times inbetween cleaning to watch harry potter!!
well today i spent the day shopping with my dad so that took my mind off things for a bit :o
my dad bought me some pj's and a dressing gown i wanted so that was nice of him.

i bought a few more ornaments for christmas and some thomas the tank bubble bath with a sponge to go in ds2 stocking so gradually getting a few bits which is making me feel better.
ex came round about 15 mins ago to take the boys out, considering he has not seen them since thursday when i asked what time they would be coming home he said he only had an hour spare!!

not much going on on the debt busting front today but i did manage to do my weekly shop for £41.23 where before i was spending about £60 - £70 a week!! so must keep that down so i have more money to throw at the debt.

oh forgot to add yesterday i cleared my catalogue yesterday!! it was only a small amount but still really pleased as it is 1 debt completly gone for good!! :j:j:j

Chin up babe it will get better i promise. Can you not meet up with some friends while the kids are at school. I am also struggling to pay of decent amount of debt off, but at least you are making it go down, not up.
I think your kids would rather have a happy mum for christmas instead of presents that will only keep them occupied for the day. As long as you do your best, thats all that matters, as the saying goes its the thought that matters.

thanks for you reply mandz :o
i should really meet up with my friends when boys are at school but i feel like everyone pitys me at the moment and i am a burden iykwim.

i just feel really empty today and this stupid cold aint helping!!
im just scared for some reason that the boys will want to stay with their dad all the time because i feel like all i do is tell them to tidy their bedrooms, brush their teeth, do homework etc whilst he doesnt have to worry about that now they can just have "fun" with daddy. :(

  • Hi Fizzypops, found your diary. Sorry to hear you are going through what you are. I don't have any children so can't really give any advice on that but there are lots of lovely people here with lots of advice as I am sure you have seen. This is probably a good place for you to vent too. There are other people in the same position and they listen, just like the rest of us, so I guess it's a kind of therapy. (I'm not suggesting you need it, but you said about your Mum suggested you speak to someone).
I thought it was a great idea that you have got your children games to play for Christmas. You might not be able to buy them as many things as your ex (who sounds mean by the way, you are better off out of that!), but if they have lots of fun on Christmas day in years to come they will remember that, they might not remember exactly how many presents were bought by you or your ex, but they will remember they had fun.
The fact that you are managing to pay extra off your debts especially before Christmas as well is brilliant, so keep up the good work :T I will be following your progress.

  • thankyou for your kind words cakelover :A

well i checked my bank and i have just over £60 to last me till tuesday BUT i need petrol, electric and stock up on bread milk etc. hopefully i can make it last as i have paid above min payments on my debts this month so i just wont be able to pay any more till tuesday and i still havent finished xmas shopping!!! must pull my finger out on that one!!

well i sorted out my bedroom yesterday as the wardrobes were really cluttered and i found old handbags and purses with lots of change in them so need to bag all that up and put it in the bank, i reckon i have about £20 in change :)

also i found 100 euros from when i went to spain this year so can get them changed back and i can hopefully finish my xmas shopping off so really happy today.
i need to post my soa on here so i can see it in black and white how much i should be able to pay towards debt each month.

does anyone have the link please? :o
