I don't get weekly email, I did get the message, before all this hoohah started and I looked at it and deleted it without doing anything with it

I haven't signed to the weekly email BUT I did get the dodgy email.
Just found it in my junk folder.

[Edit] I just thought I probably shouldn't be advising people to use things like this. I know I'm a good guy and that these utilities are well respected but in general its not smart to start using a utility some guy on a Forum recommended!

I also use Keepass. One of my reasons for choosing it over other similar software is that it's open-source - in other words, the code for it is visible to anyone, so if there was anything iffy in the code it would have been spotted by now.

I don't use it for creating passwords, but it is very handy for saving them.

I received an email to Frantic Female at an email address I don't use for MSE, plus I don't have a user name Frantic Female.

Whoever FF is she(?) has only 2 posts, and got a very strange reply from on the posts made, very confusing I'm obviously missing something.

There do seem to be a few people with "incorrect" username/email mappings.

I know this may seem a daft question, but have MSE junked/sent for repair a machine or hard disk in recent months?

If you have any PMs waiting, then when you sign in/refresh MSE, it does a pop-up for you.

I didn't receive the email (as of yet..?) and I'm subscribed to the weekly mail, and I signed up in January 2010, this year.
