Is it worth upgrading to premium status with quidco?
I have upgraded with TCB, but can't really see the extra benefit in upgrading with quidco
Am I missing something?0 -
I've just bought all my side of the family's Xmas presents using the £80.80 TCB gave me for opening a Nationwide FlexDirect. It came to £80.45 - nicely done me0

Anyone have problems with topcashback? I very really use cashback sites, only on big purchases and yearly for my car insurance. I have had to put in two claims in the last 6 months and they've both been declined. They didnt track my claims both times. They've sent me a message saying they wasnt the last merchant. I have now missed out on £55 cashback. Now am i missing something or do they refuse cashback every now and again for there own benefit. I always clear my cookies etc before. I will never use them again.
Who shall i use next?

I have been using Topcashback for just over 3 years now and saved £1800.15. I check EVERYTHING! I buy on it. I don't make extravagent purchases at all. If I can't afford it, I don't buy it. I do all my Christmas shopping on it. I buy my own and my 2 children's house insurance on it. Holiday Insurance, holidays and hotels etc I use it for these every time. I have had a few non tracked claims but I always fill in a missing cashback claim and have always been paid out! Honestly I think it's fantastic.:j0

Have used TCB for years and average £300 per year so very good IMO.
Query though, went through them in January to change Broadband provider to Plusnet and Plusnet (though initially accepting the switch) failed to activate the order. This meant I've missed out on a preferential deal. Do I have any comeback with anyone?0 -

Avoid TopCashback. They use lots of lame excuses to not pass on cashback. Often making you wait months, or occasionally over a year, saying the claim is in progress, and then eventually declining for no good reason. My last declined claim was declined in September 2016, for a transaction with Samsung in February 2015.
Their reason to decline this perfectly valid transaction, with cashback owing of £20, was that as of now they no longer deal with Samsung.
Similarly I am still waiting on £30 in cashback from a transaction in July 2015.
Also many cashback purchases fail to track, and you have to manually enter the claims. Just through that I've lost about another £50 in cashback as you end up missing the deadline to make claims.
I don't have any of these issues when using QuidCo, so recommend them instead.0 -
I love TopCashback! I've been a member with them for almost 4 years, and I've never had any problems with them tracking or declining any valid transaction. Hopefully that will continue for years to come.
So far TopCashback has paid me £1,617.88 (with another £56.87 confirmed - mainly thanks to my £38.38 cashback for changing my Home Insurance provider to AA). Plus I like their range of payment options from BACS and Paypal to Amazon and Love2Shop Vouchers, with a bonus amount if you are prepared to accept payment in something other than cash (like vouchers).
It's become second nature to me now - whenever I want to browse or buy something online, see if there's cashaback available first (and I was glad to see Ebay come back on Topcashback's retailer list earlier this year).0 -
Evening all
I've always used comparison sites for insurance, then gone to Quidco for cashback.
Always worked well.
But this year I have got quotes for home insurance, then when I go via Quidco, the quotes I then go for are quite a bit higher than the ones on comparison sites - often making cashback a no-go.
Anyone else finding this? And is there a solution?
Cheers!0
