Throwing cigarette end out of moving car

OP - did you just accept the penalty, without question? You should have come here before now; it's no good moaning about it and just paying up.

As said, it could have been fixed to the dashboard. Or a passanger could have been holding it.

Hope you got a hefty fine. They should also fine those who stand outside pubs and litter the place with their cigarette butts.

I would have imagined it would have been a stationary camera.

The enforcer would had to have lightning reflexes to catch you throwing your cigarette butt out of the window and put on the record function on at the same time.

I was the only person in the car, i paid the fixed penalty of £50, they haven't asked for interview, as for knowing what was said. the legislation was i think littering laws.

I accepted it, i did it so i accepted it, i am not moaning all i am saying is that a officer sat in car behind me gets away with using a mobile phone to capture a image of my car only not the throwing of cigarette end. i had seen it and the evidence was said officers against mine.

I had a wasp get in my helmet and that caused me to crash. I suppose its not beyond the bounds of possibility for a butt end to get in my face if a wasp can. It was the burning pain and momentary panic that caused me to crash. I didnt die though as you can tell.
I suspect that the poster is, as human nature tends to dictate, stating an unproven "fact". In Australia however they do have really bad accidents when Bushmen spiders suddenly drop on to drivers from car sun blinds where they hide - must be true, it was on BBC TV.
I guess anything you throw from your car has the capacity to cause a fatality to the driver behind and not just bikers. but it must be pretty rare that it does, I've never heard of it happening. Still hopefully you won't do it any more.
