My 15 yr old son is in a 12 and his feet seem to have stopped growing (touch wood) although his podiatrist said he could carry on till he's 18.
The problem we have is that his feet are very narrow and manufacturers seem to think big feet are also fat feet so there is always a lump at the bottom of the laces because he has to tighten them so much.
I've tried buying online and always have to send them back as he has such strange feet and there's no Brantano near us now, annoying as I always went there.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Sorry, the site that sells big size Vans etc is tallskates.co.uk
Vans shoes, especially the slip-ons are quite narrow

My very tall husband with size 15 feet uses www.bigsize.co.uk for shoes. The web site is not that great - but it is functional and does have a good choice. I think they have a shop in Somerset too. They go up to size 21 so you should be covered for a few years yet!0
