Is it just me, or does she sound really out of proportion? I'm 1" taller than her and my feet are at least 2 sizes smaller.
In one way, I guess my parents were lucky - they're both short and produced 3 short children - my brother is around my height and takes a size 6 and my sister is around my height and takes a 3-4.
Shoes aren't an issue for me - but clothes are. I'm 1cm too tall for most childrens clothes; as they generally only go up to age 11. (I know some do go up to age 15) Ladies clothes are generally far too big height-wise.
not sure about out of proportion, but i suppose i'm used to it. she was 10lb 4 oz a birth though. people do seem shocked when they hear she is only 9 years old. i'm 5ft4" and am a size 7, my 11 year old is 5ft2 and a size 7. hubby is 5ft11, so not overly tall.0 -
My daughter has size 9 (adult) feet. We get some shoes/boots from Next and New Look. Tall Girls (online) have a mans department and sell shoes and trainers, but they are expensive.

Hi, just thought you would like to know about the website tallskates.co.uk. My son takes a size 14 and he can now select from a big choice of shoes and they are cheaper than the other shop on-line. He's never had so many!!0

thanks for your suggestion. i tried the website but most of the styles size 14 were OOS. Also they seem to have some problem with processing orders. Might try again next week.0

My eldest is 14, she's 5ft 7.5'' tall, a size 10 with size 8.5 feet! She's always been bigger, but beautifully model like!
My 8 year olf daughter has a size adult 4, and ,y 6 yr old son has a size 1 foot, so big feet in this family, except me. I'm only a size 4!0 -
just found this thread, and it seems i'm not alone with kids with big feet. i have twin boys who just turned 16, one is 6 foot 5 other is 6 foot 4, both have size 16 feet, ebay and walk tall are my fav shops.
i'll never forget the day when one of my sons was just seven years old, and took a size 6 shoe, teacher didnt believe that i couldnt get black pumps for pe in his size, back then they stopped making them at a size 5.
hardly suprising my lads are tall tho, as their mum, i'm 6 foot 3, and they call me shorty cos they bigger than me, and their massive shoes make my size 10's look normal size lol
brantano is brill for womens shoes upto a ten, and longtallsally.co.uk go up to a size 11

Hi again,
The website that stocks big size Vans, Globe and DC shoes have got new stock of Globes in size 13. Just bought some Reef flip-flops from them and they are much cheaper than the smaller sizes in the shops.
Hope this helps!0
