Aww Piggers huge hugs, big squishy ones with an obscene choccy on the top.

Its been a year and a half eh?

All I can say is that despite everything you plod on and get through another day, every day. You have lovely children and life will throw you some good stuff as you go along, it has to really, you've had more than your fair share of heartache.

I've done nil flying as such but I have done some christmas shopping because I need to be organised .

My startling realisation is that I don't have enough time, this working full time malarky is getting on my nerves...for what, so I can stumble round like a headless chicken most f the time....its a joke.

Piggers - DS2 and I have had that tummy thing for a few days too, wonder if it is a bug. Hope life picks up for you.

Meeting went well, I love chairing meetings and delegating - must get the minutes done tomorrow so that nobody can forget what they agreed to do after the copious amounts of mulled wine they had drank.

Only basic flying achieved today and out for a chunk of tomorrow so not looking too promising then either. Off to set the WM and DW and then to bed for me.

:rotfl: I am officially useless but at least I dont care now (darn these meds are good :D) second day back and I've done nothing other than cook tea and catch up with all my finances including setting up standing orders for credit cards so I dont get any surprise charges by missing deadlines. Unfortunately looks like Christmas will be slim pickings this year unless DH comes to the rescue.

Had a busy day at work and didnt even get a look in on here today so have looked through the last few pages but need to go to bed.

Still trying to keep up (and failing).

Lost my motivation with the new house now. Especially where PITA relatives are concerned. Thinking of phoning them up and informing them they are banned from ever darkening my door again.

I'm tired, I've just had my flu jab, The Bloke has a broken ankle, he is becoming almost obsessed with takeaway food because we live so close to so many outlets now - he is beginning to refuse normal food and go out and spend silly money every night on deep fried capr, leaving me having already spent far too much on proper food and cooked it.

And I've just signed up for the next batch of University modules because I'll miss the closing date otherwise. I bet he'll moan about that too, how if I really loved him I wouldn't want to neglect him by studying or - horrors - actually communicating with people online. Especially when there is housework to be done (because he - sigh - does everything - sigh - around here - sigh - and nobody notices all that he does - sigh - they're just using him - sigh)

It's days like this where I really want to tear someone's head off and scream down the bloodied stump.

Oh well, I noticed his secret stash of strawberry cheesecake in the back of the fridge :D

Brilliant Hun, this really made me giggle I have a weird image now of baby nipple tassels in a burlesque show!!

Now for the boring 'me' bit

Yes, I know it is early morning and I should be sleeping in the land of nod but noooo am in pain and restless and being chased by the BD so bleugh.. Feeling very mixed up tonight as I should be feeling fit enough now to drive and I struggled today just moving my little light weight hoover round the place.
I am also worried now again about work and things there, I am terrified of returning there due to the stress and internal issues that sent me off in the first place. Thing is though I have been off on the sick since May and I know this has to be resolved one way or the other and also I am ruining my employment record --- again. Took me ages last time finding another job with depression on my records.
Jeeeeeeee sorry it just builds up.

Good thing though, I am sat here sewing my granny square blanket together to keep my head occupied (or trying to) and its now 5 by 4 squares and I have it laid over my thin fleece blanket and it is warming me legs quite nicely. I also have another 20 squares to add to it so it should be just a nice size to pop on my knees at night.

Okies, enough from me for now, sorry this is off topic, please delete if needed but I had to share this somehow/where.

Morning Shy Sarah, someone else who can't sleep here, I was just dropping off when I woke myself up by nearly falling out of bed D'oh! then I realised I had forgotten to take my tablets so I had to get up and go down stairs to get them, then the cats wanted feeding, now I have had my tabs and my extra sneaky cuppa and am waiting til I feel a bit snoozyfied then I shall go to bed...

tomorrow I plan to take a few things to the charity shop and do a run to the tip with some empty boxes and a broken dvd player (don't worry nothing heavy!!) shan't do anything if I don't get some sleep soon

    Morning All

Sarah and msgnomey - hope you managed to get some more sleep and Sarah - it's natural to worry about going back to work after being off for so long - be kind to yourself and concentrate on getting well.

Piggers - nothing's ever simple is it? - keep your chin up - you know where we are if you want to offload.

Jojo - kick him on his bad ankle!

    Mudders - good news

Okay I've forgotten averything else so hugs to all.

HHI already done and just about to put the WM on as I've just remembered I've filled it but not switched it on! Twilight session at work tonight and then Cubs so not a lot of time at home tonight and tomorrow staff meeting and then the theatre in the evening, Friday we're away as soon as I finish work. Not a lot more going to be done then!

    Have a good day all

  • Good morning  I've been jup since silly o'clock too, as I needed to get DD to the station to start a journey to London Town for a college trip. Our little station doesn't run trains that early (it has one train in each direction a day ;) ). I waited with her until the train arrived, and she met a friend at the station, so that put my mind at rest :)

Off to work soon, then a long day there. More freezer leftovers for tea (I found enough bolognaise for DS and me :D ) and I have some rice vegetable bake for my lunch.

Have a lovely day, everyone :A
