    Sockdrawer- the beds we have at work are Huntleigh, but I've googled them and they don't seem to do the exact same ones but we got ours 6 years ago when we moved to the new hospital and have only a small amount of minor problems with them-we have 26. It would certainly be worth your sister asking various places (?childrens respite, district nurses, OTs etc) what they would all suggest rather than going on one persons recommendation. The other thing is that they can be hired-would it be worth getting her name on the list and hiring in the meantime? Mattress wise we use Alova if not as much pressue relief is needed or Nimbus 3 if it is. Again these are suitable for elderly care but there maybe something better for young disabled. I have say that I think its appalling that they have not been given these things anyway and that they haven't even been given lots of guidance from the professionals who are involved. I hope you are able to sort something out.
    Hugs to those in need.
    Curlytop40 Thank you so much for your kind help and ideas. I had the rep from Huntleigh on the phone yesterday and he's putting together a quote. I too think it's appalling but it seems to be a common story. Hopefully we can get something sorted out. Thank you again. xx

    Morning all

    I'll join the tired gang this morning I think.

    Meeting a friend at lunchtime so I'm going to have a cuppa and tidy the kitchen. If I get to do the bathroom before I go out that will be a bonus too.

  • Ok washing up is soaking, TD is one fluffing up a load from monday that I'd forgotten about. Downstairs is tidy, beds are made-why do cats think that they can 'help' with putting on a king sized duvet cover!!!
    July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.
    Myself, DD, 2 cats, 35 weeks pregnant.
    Debts- CC's- V-775, F-1253.10, BC-3291.80, T-1429.08. Total-6748.98. All 0%. Aim- to pay £200 per month.
  • Feel so guilty - been too rushed off my feet recently with other stuff even to log in and now the house looks a tip. Was intending to do somethng about it yesterday, but just sat in bed (clothed) keeping warm, and sending e-mails to people/surfing. Felt totally wiped out and depressed.

    So today I must do something about it. I've done the school run, booked an on-line food order (we've been living off jars recently!) and made a list for today:

    * Pay B/Card bill
    * Empty urgent pink folder of dealt stuff
    * H-M bread
    * Leek, bacon & sweetcorn soup to empty the fridge completely
    * Compost to bins
    * Refill bird feeders
    * Hairwash
    * Clean bathroom afterwards (part of Tuesday's list)
    * Go and pick daughter up and attend concert, then cello lesson
    * Finish off meal
    * Finalise Sainsbury's order
    * Get an early night

    At least it will get me moving again and back in the swing of sorting things out.

    Will do a HH run-about at 10:00am, though I think I might make an early start now...
