I'm in!
DD2 came home from school early yesterday - she has a stinking cold, so now the LR looks like a bomb has hit it!:o:o Better get a wiggle on!:):jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Curlytop40 wrote: »Ok washing up is soaking, TD is one fluffing up a load from monday that I'd forgotten about. Downstairs is tidy, beds are made-why do cats think that they can 'help' with putting on a king sized duvet cover!!!
Ooohh my cat is just the same.. in fact when I did the bed pre hospital I had to pull the duvet out from under him, pulled the corners of the sheet off the bed and then had to lift him out as he would have laid there watching me otherwise. He is currently very happy, laid on his end of the sofa snoozing in front of the open fire.
Firstly - apologies for my 'Oh woe is me' post last night/this morning. I am still chasing the BD but I will reign in my self indulgent whinging (a bit)
Had a dire night with about 3hours of sleep achieved in all, but on the positive side I have nearly finished sewing together my crochet blanket. It is a bit scruffy and rough round the edges but it is my first ever 'project' and oh, it does keep my legs warm.:T
Mum was over early this morning and sat in the LR while I had my first bath in a week!!! (have had showers and strip washes etc... I ain't that much of a dirty mare..:rotfl:). It was delicious, the bath, I put in my vanilla Lu$h bubble bar and had a nice soak and now smell yummy. I have taken off the steri-strips from my entrance points and they where revolting and yellow yuck although all in all besides bruises and yellow bits they look very good. :T
I was naughty when I came home and decided I didnt need the 'preventative' antibiotics but seeing the yellow-ish wounds I think I shall take them. Better late than never.
Today I will be doing the grand total of NOTHING. I am exhausted, sore, in pain and grumpy. So, I will cheer you all on from the side lines and bore you with my lengthy posts.
If you have got this far... Wake Up...

Aaah SHYSARAH don't worry babe the BD gets us all sometimes. You've had loads to deal with lately so its hardly self-indulgent. Big hug coming at ya!

Hehehe, well my mum came over and told me off for not weaving in the ends etc and said 'it will probably unravel'.. once i put it on her knees and she felt the warmth she shut up :j
At the end of the day these things we make mean more to us than any posh shop things and they do the job so *raspberry blowing smily* to any commentators eh..

OK - well, in the HH Dash-about, I:
* Unpacked the dw
* Unpacked the airing cupboard
* Took the compost to the heap
* Dug up two leeks (I am sooooo proud of my leeks this year!)
* Checked the bird feeders
* Made the bread dough, left it turning in the mixer and then shaped it up to rise
* Trimmed the leeks and left them to soak, strained the chicken stock
* Tidied around generally in the kitchen; put dishes in DW and cleared away the washing up from the top of the stove
Am off to deal with the bathroom next, and also to have a hairwash. Needs to dry before school run, and I don't like using a hairdryer , so I need to get it done now.
Feels better to be moving again today! (And warmer)
MissH
