Looking to the Future ... My Mortgage Free Dream

First lot of last weekend's ebay listings have ended tonight and I have sold four which should net me around £30 or so when they all pay. More ending tomorrow and a couple have bids on. Good for a clear out, lets hope they all pay up quickly.0

Hi YukkiBear!
Yes, our mortgage seems to be the same, interest calculated daily and billed monthly. Do you get a mortgage statement each month then to keep track? Our mortgage company say they don't do that unless it's an overpayment of over £2K.
When you see the balance reducing each month, does it give you the incentive to keep going? I'm hoping I'll get the bug!
As for 78000 things on ebay, I need about 167400..................0 -
I don't get a monthly statement, justba yearly one. but I do log in online and check the balance against my spreadsheet each month. We're on a fixed term so our overpayments are capped at £500 per month without charge, not that we get anywhere near that at the moment.
In other money news I logged into tcb this morning and £40 was payable that I have been chasing for months which was nice, so have requested that.
A couple more eBay items ending tonight with bids on.0 -
Hi YB!
Sorry I've not dropped by for a while. I'm Readjusting to married life and getting back to work! I can't face updating my diary at the moment as all our money is flowing the wrong way!! Just spotted your post on the card making thread- beautiful cards!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Thanks Jellie.
Our money went haywire just after the wedding as well, not sure why but it did settle down again fairly quickly. Unsettling at the time though I think as you think that the saving has finished and you can get back to normal but it doesn't quite happen like that.0 -
Managed a £50 OP today and some into the ISA to round it up to the next round figure. Waiting on some TCB to land, not sure what I'll do with that yet.0

£41.25 from TCB landed this morning, am waiting for my CI money and then going to OP it both. Managed a travel review of our holiday on said review site this morning. Not a lot else tho am soooo tired getting back into the work routine again.
Going to wake myself up and go blackberry picking with dd2 in a mo0 -
Busy weekend at work finished. Slight changed to my OP plans for tomorrow when the CI money should land. I was going to OP £50 again but hubby managed to snap his wheel locking nut in his wheel so we've had to order another set and then he informs me he needs another tyre. Think I'll save the OP money and put it towards the car.
I've also just bought more ink for the printer as I've found a new obsession in these
Hey ho if you don't jump you can't fly!0 -
Ciao money landed this morning, but have left it to soak up some of the current acc instead of moving it anywhere else. Quiet day otherwise, no surveys etc.0
