I've spent the day sorting, polishing, hoovering, moving, chucking away, taking photos. House still looks like a mess! Must be a bit cleaner though. I ended up doing both mine and dd's bedroom.

    Pooped now.

I always feel sooooo much better after a big tidy up. I think I am going to clear the rest of DD's clothes and put them in a charity bag that is due for collection Monday. I can't stand the clutter anymore!

Time for the end of month targets.

I reached payout on DY today just in the nick of time, also managed to get to payout on OW which were my two online targets.

I didn't manage to overpay all I wanted but instead I put more into savings. I think we need this at the moment because there is a lot in the house that is starting to need replacing and I don't want to be short by overpaying everything.

My targets for August are going to be

    - OP by £122 which will knock September 2031 off the list
    - Cram as much into the ISA as I can
    - buy three xmas presents (at a discounted price)
    - get to £30 on DY
    - Declutter (more has to go out than comes in and I'll be tracking this each day in my diary)
    - Lose 9lk (target weight 9st 9lb)

I've started off the OP fund with £2.24 and about £2.50 into the isa this morning. It all helps!

On my decluttering front I have taken out a load of empty bottles and cardboard to the recycling bin ready for collection.

Well done on reaching payout on DY. I did last Tuesday and back up to a tenner already which is just :eek:.

All helps. Good luck in August, and new chow is household appliances.

    Household Appliances August Campaign
August is the last month of summer as well as the month of summer vacations. However on Ciao August is the month of our new “Household Appliances” category! From large kitchen appliances, beauty appliances and sewing machines to washers, vacuum cleaners and kitchen gadgets, every new review on a “Household Appliances” product will be awarded an extra bonus of £0.50.

Therefore, write reviews, share your experience and at the same time make some extra money!

I just looked through DY and I have 10 to copy across and some I can write too. Nowhere near as many as last month, but it all helps eh?

I'm being fairly ruthless in my clearing out, and anything that I question, I'm now chucking.

I managed 2 reviews on Ciao yesterday and some rating, so am back to £1.70 this morning from zero yesterday.

I ended up spending the afternoon at a local adventure park and it was really nice. Spent no money either so was a bargain.

Nothing has come into my house today and nothing has gone out so no progress of sorts but haven't made it worse either.

    Money wise today I have

    - one review on Ciao and one requested all in the bonus categories
    - 50p on OW
    - listed three things on ebay this evening.

Back to work today and I'm determined not to go into the shop for my dinner. So I have some chicken cooking and there is micro rice in the freezer so that will be my dinner tonight. I always resort to buying breakfast bars as well when I do early shifts as we have no toaster so I am going to take granola into work tomorrow morning and stay AWAY from the shops.

I've requested £10 argos voucher this morning from CP which will go with the £5 voucher we got for buying the lawn mower the other day and I'll buy a xmas pressie.

I have a £5 toys r us voucher to use in aug that i'm going to put towards my nephew's birthday pressie later this month and I have just received £2.50 clubcard vouchers which makes £8 i think I have in total now. I'll use that on Double up when they do it and get a xmas pressie for someone.

The OP pot is sitting at just over £6 which is just rounding down accounts and transferring when I have used paypal balance in the last couple of days. That's not too bad.

Don't know if it helps at all, approved food were doing a case of cereal bars for 50p (18 in a case I think) and it seems T are doing double up at the moment.
