    Goals for 2011

    - [STRIKE]Have a foreign holiday ( we haven't had one yet in five years as a family so will combine honeymoon and holiday together. I think the majority of the money will come from wedding pressies for this so not too worrying financially.[/STRIKE] Yeah baby just done that one

    - Replace two of the following - bathroom, front door, patio doors. I want all three but realistically cannot do it all so it'll be on a needs must basis as the money gets together. If I manage one I WILL be happy.

    - Declutter my home and keep it looking nice. I am aiming to work on a one in one out basis with extras on top.

    - Have at least 2k in flexi savings which can be dipped in and out of as needs arises (cars, small appliances, general random emergencies, photos etc etc) Half way there

    - Overpay by at LEAST £50 per month (this will shave 3 years off the term) Managed this on every month apart from two but has been more than £50

    - Save for Disney in 2012. I missed out on taking DD1 and I would love to take DD2 as well as a more grown up DD1 (you're never too old for Disney)

Just having a look back at my goals I set in November 2010 when I started my diary. It's better than I thought, but it makes me realise how cluttered my house still is from back then so I need to work on that and set up a savings fund for the next holiday / home improvements and overpaying.

Long and tiring day today. Am nit convinced I am 100% but certainly not I'll enough not to go to work. Hopefully a good nights sleep will help me tonight.

A couple of reviews written and about 30p on op. Did a survey too but it froze at the end so unsure if I'll get points for that one or not.

You never know I may win the lottery tonight.

Poor you. Take it easy when you get home then. Lots of nutricious food and some rest for you. Overkilled it probably by working hard after your hols. Hope it clears soon. xx

Aw hun, hope you get a good nights sleep and feel better in the morning.

I know what you mean about the saving v OPs. It feels better to OP as it saves on more interest than the savings account does but it feels safe to have some money in savings. I have started putting money aside for things likes car mot, holiday spends so that I dont dip into my savings for it. So technically I am still adding to savings but it my head its not savings money, if that makes sense.

Hope your tooth is sorted, I know how that feels :(
