Ouchies is all I have to say tonight. I can't wait for this socket to heal over properly. Hoping I get a good night's sleep tonight as back to work tomorrow.

I got a shiny crown today on DY which was nice and have written another which I hope will net me another crown next week. Close to payout and should reach that by the end of the month.

How sad am I that I have already worked out my targets for Aug. They are slightly more than July so need to work quite hard and I'll have school uniform, shoes and a large nursery bill to pay for too.

Congratulations on your shiny hat. None for me this time I'm afraid, but I am still working at it. I am looking forward to hearing how you meet your August target. I am sure this chow promotion will be a good help.

Hope the tooth doesn't bother you for too long. A few weeks and it will be like new I'm sure. Amazing how the body heals. Hopefully you will sleep through it, and feel ok tomorrow.

Thanks Michelle, had a good night's sleep and there is no throbbing this morning thankfully. I have managed to eat toast as well as drinking a coffee so I think I may be through the worst of it.

I'm not entirely sure how I#m going to manage August's target yet, haven't completed July's to be fair. I'll have to have a think and try to come up with something amazing. I should have the DY cheque and there will be some from Chow but that's not a lot as I have only been posting one per day.

Glad your tooth is feeling a bit better. Good luck with August targets, no harm in being prepared and setting goals. Hopefully the sun will shine in August which will hopefully make entertaining children easier and cheaper!

There is still 11 days left. If you could manage 2 or 3 a day, it might help?

So glad to hear you had a good nights sleep. If it was a clean extraction it should heal really quick.

It's amazing how quickly you settle back into the work routine after having a holiday :(

I'm going to rethink August's challenges I think as we have a larger than I'd like nursery bill as it's summer hols and no funding available. I'm going to set my challenges to concentrate on building the slush fund back up instead of paying so much of mortgage I think. Will finalise after I see the damage after the bill's been paid and then go from there.

I received £7.70 from TCB this morning so that's been moved to the OP pot.

OOOO my tooth area is all itcy and tingly this morning. I know that's a good sign and it's healing, but v annoying all the same.

So far this morning I have written a DY review and crossed it to C. Done a 50p OW survey so back up to £1 over there. I've also been looking at finances and where I want my savings targets to be, so I am going to put more into the ISA over the next couple of months and build the slush fund up I think as there is uniform to buy etc and then it'll be xmas. I don't want to leave us short through attacking the mortgage.

Sounds a good plan. I have the similar thought myself, that perhaps I should be aiming to put more in the saving pot. Hard to get the balance quite right, and I am not half as motivated to save as to overpay. I am thinking I might put half of the money I earn in the ISA and half in the mortgage so I get a bit more balance.

Me either it just doesn't feel right saving, nothing to really save for except those emergencies that I hope will never happen. I definitely am more motivated to see balances coming down rather than going up which is wierd.
