Definietly feeling marginally better this morning. Am surviving without a tablet so that's a positive step. It's a nasty cold, almost flu but without the aches and pains, sweats etc, very bizarre.

Back to work today, nothing in or out of the bank account, waiting until payday on friday but think things will be a squeeze next month with the increased nursery bill for August. Still at least it'll be the last one.

It has been bad. I'm happy you are coming out the other side of it. Probably because you relaxed on holiday like when it hit me at christmas. I hope work doesn't sap you too much today. xx

One more day at work before my long weekend. I know I've just had a holiday but I need it.

Requested £12.53 from CIOW this afternoon, nothing near what I wanted it to be but with going away and being ill I just couldn't manage it. Never mind it's still £12.53 I didn't have before.

Still £1 off DY target, but I can get one written tonight or tomorrow to tip me over by the end of the month.

Nothing much else going today, have got a lasagne cooking in the oven, and I stayed out of the shops at work today and took my own lunch in so that's a good day.

TGIF is all I can say! The house is a tip and there's free listing on Ebay this weekend. I need sleep and food!

This afternoon I have

- transferred 3p into savings :cool:
- done a P!nec0ne survey
- thought about writing a DY but haven't as yet

I was speaking toa colleague earlier today and she was telling me of a customer who has just been evicted from their house. All the desperation of overpaying and saving whooshed through me again.

I would be shocked if anyone on this board said they were being evicted. Try to get some relaxing/resting done too over the weekend so you can get back to full power for next week. New month and all that.

OH is at work today so it's tidy up the house time. So far this morning I have

- cleaned the bathrooms
- written a DY review
- got screened out on a OP and OW survey.


Lots to do and am going to get some bits together for Ebay this weekend. Not sure whether to start in my bedroom, dd2's bedroom or the dining rooms, we still haven't put the chairs and table together yet that were delivered in the week!
