I keep meaning to start ebaying but never get round to it- I get fed up of things sitting about and end up charity shopping it!! I ought to try though- any extra money will help with the wedding!

Well that's the thing isn't it Jellie. We have a bit left to pay for in the new year so any extra I can generate now will help take the pressure off as well as making the next step of saving, plus the next step of budgeting and paying off the mortgage easier. Plus it might help my house not to look like such a ******** place.

I've so far put three things on at 99p which a couple I will be a bit disappointed if they do go for 99p, but they have been listed twice now and not gone, so they are only taking up space in my bedroom.

    I will!

Update on today - We've had a lovely roast dinner, spent far too much in the supermarket, and listed a few items on Ebay.

I am going to put more on tonight, and have one item with a bid on ending tonight.

I've managed to buy one xmas pressie today and found a code that worked to knock £2 off the price. It all helps.
Also ordered £20 worth of Argos vouchers from CP to go towards OH's xmas pressie that he wants. Think I may have £2.50 on my nectar card as well that I'll knock off it

I must start ebaying! What kind of things sell well or do you just put anything on and see what you can get?

I'll put anything on Jellie, but mainly it's kids bits that DD has outgrown. I don't have anything high value any more, but being ruthless now and clearing right out.

I've had a fairly productive day today. Managed to invoice a client for £45 for some work I did this morning. Money should be with me by the end of the day. Shame I don't get that work every day.

Ordered DD1 some bear paw boots for £30 thanks to the grabbit board. I could have treked to TKMaxx and got them for around the same price, but that means petrol, parking, cold weather etc, and I shopped through Maximiles. I seem to be averaging one present a day at the mo, think that's good progress, for xmas if not for the bank account.

I've also listed a couple of bits on my local for sale board, hope they sell but we'll see.

A good day so far today. I've had two competition wins delivered to me this morning, one I knew about and one I didn't. Both wierdly enough are newborn baby gift sets which are no use to me at all :rotfl::rotfl:

I think one will go to our friends new baby for xmas and the other will be saved for another friend who is having a baby early next year.

MIL also bought me two pairs of jeans. I nearly bought myself some the other day so glad I didn't now.

Also my birthday pressie from OH arrived yesterday :T and he let me set it all up last night. Can't wait till my birthday now (which isn't until almost xmas)

I made a lemon cake on Monday, and it's really nice! I never thought my cakes were that nice but everyone has enjoyed it, so I think I'll cost it out and work out if it's cheaper to make than buy soon.

Also got some pizza dough rising this morning so I can make a pizza for work this evening. That will keep me out of the shop which is always a good thing for not spending money.

Yesterday was actually a NSD which is great.

I went back to Dooyoo yesterday as well, used to write there a lot but with the new structure it's a bit more difficult, so I'm going to see how it goes, but I love writing so it's no hardship to write the reviews, it just a shame about the low pay for it.
