    Mortgage-free Glee!
Thanks Yukkibear - I'm with LP on this one and will desist from any other betting this year with a view to kicking off a MB career in 2011! If nothing else, it gives me an extra couple of spreadsheets to play with!

    Cheers,

    Billy

    I like spreadsheets too Billy!

Right have been feeling a bit despondant about money etc this morning. The house needs a good declutter as well, so in a mo I am going ti find 5 things to throw away or recycle before work.

I logged onto my mortgage account to see the balance and it was sitting with a niggly figure of £5.02 at the end of it, so I have just transferred that from my bank to round it down.
According to my spreadsheet it's saved me £11.07 from the overall balance so I have effectively saved money today and that's made me feel better.

My new 0% card has finally arrived so I can crack on with the wedding spends on that and the rest of xmas to get some points.

Dinner for work today is pizza and salad which I am about to finish preparing. I did just steal some of DD2's chocolate from her halloween bag to cheer myself up, please don't tell her.

Yukki- tiaras are a pain in the bum to make, easy enough but time consuming. I'm trying to expand into online but with house move 3 weeks away and i'm starting to resemble a weeble it won;t be this side of Easter. Is it a tiara you want or hairpins?? With tiara just an alice band style or something with height?. If its just an aliceband you could do yourself easily.

I hate spreadsheets with a passion. Really me and excell just hate each other. If someone makes one i can use it quite happily, ask me to make one and i go screaming for the sidlaws

I know I know :rotfl: still all in a good cause!

I managed a NSD yesterday :j:j and it was so nice eating something for dinner at work that I had prepared myself and didn't cost anything.
Sadly today I will have to get dinner from the shop but I do have a voucher for a free ready meal so it should be a free dinner all the same.

Todays plans are working later, and I might do some xmas shopping this morning online whilst I have some peace.

Thank you for your kind offer on my diary :)

Sounds like you will get us all into Matched Betting - even I am starting to wonder if I could do it now! I will do just about anything for free money :rotfl:That sounds so wrong!

I wish I could knock off the niggly figures of mortgage balance to round it down but when I send OP's my balance goes up!!

I borrowed a friend's handmade tiara for my wedding - it was stunning.

I think it's the psychological benefit I get when I round the odds down. I am trained in my current account, anything over a round pound gets moved to savings. It's wierd.

I think anyone can do MB as long as you read and read it first and know what you're doing. I'm too scared to play with big money.

Todays spends were £2.79 which bought my dinner at work (£1.99 - but had a £3.99 voucher off the ready meal), pack of satsumas (£1), xmas tree chocs BOGOF (£1.99) and an angel cake £1.39.

Bargain voucher there, shame it was my last one.

Hi Wendz, good to see you here.

Busy day yesterday with some necessary spends. £4.99 on a birthday present (card and wrap already had in the house), £10 DD1 early pocketmoney, £6.02 buying lunch (still bought sandwiches instead of Macdonalds). Oh and we had a chinese and a bottle of wine last night :o

I also went to look in Next for some boots for DD1 for xmas as I have some vouchers but wanted to make sure they had them in store before ordering the vouchers.

Today we need to get some food shopping done as we have NOTHING in hence the takeaway last night and we were shattered after driving round visiting all morning and taking dd2 to a party in the afternoon.

I am going to attempt to get some bits on Ebay later, the need for a declutter is as urgent as making the shortfall for the wedding so we can attack the mortgage a lot more.
