Well the car passed but with an advisory on a wheel so that will need to be sorted soon. Always something.

I've done my monthly update of what I owe to the world today as the mortgage went out. It's gone up £346.25 from last month . Still we have had some serious expenses and also booked a holiday, so here's hoping for a better reduction next month.

On better news I only need to find £265.45 to get the mortgage under £80k. Don't think I will do that this month but you never know.

Sold a BIN on ebay this morning and have about 10 items ending later, two with bids that are over 99p lol.

Also done 3 hours at work extra this morning which I'll see at the end of the month. And just requested £7.09 from TCB and banked £7 worth of change this morning. It's not all doom and gloom is it and I do wonder what would happen if we just didn't try.

Our tax credits are lower until 28/04 (we had a statement) but they did pay us an extra payment to compensate, the letter said something about budget.

We get working and child tax credits and couldn't afford the mortgage without them, so it is a real worry:(

Yukkibear - will be great to get below 80K - well done:D:D:D

I need to hunt out the revised award notice they sent me. I did get an extra payment last month but then the regular amount before this one was lower which averaged out that extra payment, so we're still worse off.

I sold four items on ebay last night which helped to pay for some supplies for wedding invites I have promised to do for family. Bank accounts are beyond dire this month and it's ages until payday. I really need to think of a way of generating some cash, but when you need it nothing comes along does it.

I know exactly how you feel, payday just doesn't feel like it's getting any closer - it's still 2 weeks away and i'm sure i thought that last week!

I've prepared lunch for my early shift at work tomorrow and going to take left overs from last night's dinner for my dinner tonight.

I've just done the budget calculator as well and we're going to be £600 better off this year? Bet we're not!

Really pessimistic about money this morning and there is only so much juggling I can do and there still isn't enough.

So today, I've decided not to be so worried about money, somehow it'll work itself out. I have opened this year's ISA this morning and savings into this will contribute towards dd1's car or insurance next year when she turns 17.

My "pots" are all set up and I know which is for what etc, they just need money in them now. :rotfl:

Off to enjoy the rest of the sunshine

Working later today, so the plan this morning is to get the washing done and outside to dry. I'm going to try out a new slow cooker beef curry recipe so it cooks whilst I'm at work this afternoon. Hoping that'll be nice as we have no food left but we always have spices in the cupboard :)

Other than that really hoping for a NSD.

You're right about money. There's no point in worrying.

Its funny as last week we were seriously considering taking our house off the market as we thought we would struggle getting a decent mortgage offer from the bank. It turns out we could get a lot more than we wanted. It always works out in the end. We worry for nothing.

The beef curry sounds nice. I think I'll try beef for a change instead of chicken.

Hope today's a good one for you.
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
