I somehow managed to miss your wedding news. Congratulations and i wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
You still sound busy though. A MFW never stops do they?0 -
Thanks Michelle. Nope still busy as the direction just shifts that's all. It's just another big debt to pay off isn't it.0

I've had a bad week in the world of MFW ness. Spending on lunches every day, so tomorrow is a new week and I can start again.
Have listed some bits on ebay though yesterday0 -
Still trying to get back on track for MFW, but we have just booked our honeymoon which requires some saving and budget adjusting. Still we'll keep plodding on.
Got a few bits on ebay and I managed to get a free mothers day card after reading the weekly email so steps in the right direction.0 -
There's so many houses popping up for sale with all this nice sunny weather we're having. We have been spotting the for sale boards out and about this afternoon and then looking up the properties this evening. Too depressing when we see a lovely house in a budget out of our league.
With the presence of my wage slip, I have done my personal account budget for April, and if I stick to it then we should have some spares which can be divided between the house funds and the mortgage pot.
Have started another spreadsheet to keep track of virtual money I recieve to help the motivation to beating the daily interest owed on the mortgage.0 -
The start of another week. Where is the time going?
Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the local farm park in the sunshine. It was a lovely afternoon out and we took a picnic. Total spends were £5 for parking and a tractor ride.
OH went to the tip yesterday and cleared a few old bits from the garden. Looks a little clearer already.0 -
Been super busy this morning. Have sorted about seven items for ebay, listed three and will list the rest tonight. Cleared last years compost from one of my planters and half filled with fresh compost. Just need to get some more compost and then I can get some bits planted. I've emptied my plastics cupboard, cleaned it and recycled some of the odd pots without lids and vice versa. The bin has been bleached and DD's hair bits have been sorted and tidied.
Lots of little itty bits that don't make an obvious difference now, but hopefully will go a long way in the long run.
Been having a think about what we want and where we want to be. I don't think this is our forever house, but to be able to move we have to inject some cash into this house to make it nice again as it's unloved at the mo. We also need some serious back up behind us, moving costs covered and the mortgage ideally down to 50k to make the next mortgage comfortable and achieveable to kick down again quickly.
It feels good to have a plan, but it's a huge target and I don't think the move will happen in the next five years. Here we go.0 -
More ebay listing is the plan for this evening, not all went on last night as my pics wouldn't all upload for some reason.
Today I haven't spent anything
and made a lovely dinner of salmon, rice and stir fried greens, beansprouts and garlic. Made a change from having the salmon with broccoli or such like.
I've written a review on Dooyoo, I'm trying to write in the higher category all the time, but it's proving difficult. Shame as the balance looks better from the higher category.
Nothing available on OP for me though

Payday today! Not that it means much with car tax and an MOT to fork out for

Still trying to be organised so perhaps next month will be better. Really want to get under 80k in April, but we have to pay the balance on the holiday so not sure if that'll happen. I'll keep trying and plodding on.
Done a 60p Dooyoo this morning. Going to keep going for a cheque this time I think.0 -
