Oh wow what wonderful news
So happy for you!!
A little tip for you...you may think you will never forget all the little details of your special day...but you will!!! While it is fresh in your mind, write a diary of the day from the very time you woke up, your feelings...step by step...don't miss anything out. Someone suggested this to me, I did it, and reading it 2 1/2 years later I cannot believe how much I had forgotten. xx"A smile takes but a moment...
...but the memory of it lasts forever"

That's a lovely idea mummalove, thankyou, I'll do that0

You'll all have to remind me of that diary idea when my time comes!
Hope you're enjoying the first days of married life!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
dare I say it Jellie that the after effects of the wedding aren't any cheaper than the planning. so far I have just forked out £77.50 to change my name on my passport
If my photo needs renewing with my driving licence change of name it'll be £20
DD2's birth cert needs amending which is free but then we have to pay if we want a new certificate which of course we do
I imagin there will be a charge to amend my name on the will and I haven't even thought about the life insurance, car insurance, mortgage who I'm sure will love to charge me an admin fee.
Sorry the answer to your question is yes I am enjoying being a MRS.0 -
I took a chance on listing some summer bits on Ebay and they seem to be doing well, so I have sorted through some of DD's summer dresses from last year and they will go on later. I have just listed my wedding shoes as well, I wont be wearing them again, they killed my feet so I may as well try to get soemthing back for them.
50p on onepoll today.0 -
I've listed four more 99p items on ebay this evening and made my lunch for work tomorrow.
Now the wedding is over, I have put all our savings, mortgage owed, and CC bill into one spreadsheet so I can see exactly what we owe the world. It's much easier when everything is on one place.0 -
So it's the weekend. Hard to believe I've been married a whole week (almost).
Still lots to get changed over so must get on with that before I forget or get a fine or something silly.
The plan today is to get some washing out on the line outside as the sun is shining. I really want to clear some clutter, so much stuff and whatever I sell / throw away it never seems to get better. Want to get some compost to get some seeds planted too, always money.0 -
So far today I have been in every room of the house and removed 5 things in each room to throw away. Not that it looks any different. I've also
- swept the front driveway
- emptied the airing cupboard and thrown old sheets, pillow cases etc that we don't use anymore
Going to have lunch in a mo and then find one item in each room to sell. (though perhaps I'll leave the bathroom out of this raid)0
