I've taken a leaf out of Cath's book and put some bits on Amazon, quick and easy to do. Sold an item this afternoon and also sold a BIN on ebay which was nice. Written two dy reviews today so the total there is ticking up nicely.

We bought a curry sauce from Mr M this morning and before I opened it I noticed the seal was pushable and there was nice mould growing under the lid. That's going back tomorrow morning! I improvised making a curry sauce in super quick time with no measuring and everyone ate it!

Spent a lovely day at the park today. Only spends were on parking, an ice cream and a coffee. Popped into shoe shop to get DD2's feet measured so I could get her summer shoes when I get paid, only to find her size had increased a size and a half . I felt so bad, I bought some there and then. Money or no money I wouldn't make her suffer in shoes too small, not that she had been complaining though.

    Money efforts today have been

    - a DY review
    - p!nec0ne survey
    - 20p on OP

What a glorious day today. Been for lunch with MIL and let her pay AND let her buy me a dessert. In your face. :rotfl::rotfl:

Logged onto DY this morning and I had a crown :j:beer:, also written a 1000 word review in the 60p category. Just couldn't stop writing. Would love a crown for that one.

I got a free £3 to play bingo last night and managed to withdraw £17 :j

Another 60p dy review written this morning, and also just applied for a new job.

Sounds like the little bits of surveys are adding up, we will get there!

I need to get DD feet measured too, she was an 8G last time aged 2 1/4 ish but luckily her feet grow slowly as she was a 5.5H at 13months old! I bought her last pair of trainers on ebay and they have been fab. I think £28 for trainers from Cl***** is soooo expensive but little feet need the quality. I have also sold some old shoes on there and they go well.

Well done on the bingo - do you play on Bingoport?

I used to play on Bport all the time but haven't for ages. this was just a random bonus from paddypower i think it was.
I was planning on just getting DD2's feet measured and then buying online so I could get the cashback but when I realised the size difference I felt too cruel not to buy any straight away.

A long weekend at work finished. I missed a lot of the sunshine, but hoping tomorrow will still be warm and sunny to enjoy the bank holiday. I've been averaging a DY every day and the balance is going up nicely. I've passed the half way mark so it's a downward slope to the cheque now. Whilst I'm enjoying it I'll carry on with it.

The challenge this week is to not spend any money that's not necessary until payday arrives and I can work out what's left for next month.

Good luck with the new job app.

I am with you on that challenge. As I havent been at work for a week I havent done too bad although I went to bingo last night I only spent £12 and my petrol use is really low at £50/£100 and I prob have enough for 2 days travel next week so maybe only another £10/£15 needed there. Have £25 of my GC budget left which I can hopefully not go over.

I havent been on dy for a very long time, it is soooo time consuming for the money since they changed it. I have took a step back from a few things as I was really tired from it all. I have added a few more items on ebay and that seems to be doing well, on average about £150 a month from there

I think it's a balance of finding what works best for you at the right time. I'm ebayed out at the mo, so am concentrating on writing in the higher category as much as poss in DY and it's working so far. Well done with Ebay.
