Mortgage balance has updated online this morning and it's sitting at a very annoying £80,043.98. You know what my first OP of the month will be don't you!
Still can't OP at the mo, need to do some serious recouping of money and stashing some away. I'm almost at payout on DY though so I may use that if I am patient enough.
Having a really bad time at work at the mo, almost handed my notice in yesterday. Am going to be an adult and stay, but seriously looking for another job now with better hours and more support.
Still off now this afternoon, so plan on tidying the house and trying to make some cash.0 -
This morning I have
- written a DY review, so close to payout now it's frustrating.
- done a Pcone survey
Work again tonight
, hoping it's ok 0 -
Managed to keep today a low spend day, even the shopping came in under £45 which was great. As it's free listing weekend I have relisted 11 items that I keep relisting every free weekend. One day they will sell. Also sold one item today on ebay and one ending tomorrow with a bid on.0

Good luck on the relisted items, hope they sell for you.
Yes, am keeping DD's stuff to see what flavour baby pops out in October! If it's a boy we have nothing but my friend is due same time as me who has a boy and i said if she has a girl and i have a boy we will have to swap everything!
Am bidding on a jumperoo on ebay at the moment, borrowed one for DD and it was the best toy ever!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Having a nice lazy day today at home. DD2 has had a friend round and they have done painting and sticking, made a mess of the house, but it's been nice. I've done some sorting and shredding of paperwork whilst they played.
Really itching to make an OP today for some reason, but my sensible head is holding me back as it's dd1's birthday next week and I still need to get a few bits in for that.
Just tipped over the half way mark on onepoll today, feels like ages away to payout still.0 -
I've been a *ahem* bad yukkibear today and bought an iPad 2! Not as bad as some of you who buy houses on a whim, but I have wanted one for ages and reasoned that life is for living. I just need to up my game to pay myself back over the next month or so0

Who would be stupid enough to buy a house (btw with leaking stopcock & condemned wiring :rotfl:) on a whim
You are right, life is for living - enjoy
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying my iPad and typing on it now! Good news yesterday was that we would be receiving a bonus at work this month, not quite the cost of the iPad but a good way to offsetting it which is nice.
This morning I was reading back through an old diary I had when I tok out my car loan. I made great progress looking back despite not thinking I was at the time, so I am going to read it properly and try to pick up some tips to get stuff paid back and in a better position to overpay more.
Have to pay for a new wheel for my car today
£165 later 0
