I think I enjoyed my wine a little too much last night lol, but still never mind.
Thanks fir the reminder about eBay and I will be delisting all my bigger amounts today and tomorrow, hopefully find some more to list as well.
I do put some things on BIN but it depends if they sell or not. If I'm not sure then I just wait for the free listing weekend and do it that way to avoid the fees on an auction.
Today we're having a small family BBQ for lunch. I managed to do the shopping online to come this morning so that saves ne time this morning.0 -
I want wine too! Have to wait a few more months though. I am going to attempt to get some items listed on ebay but not sure how much I'm going to get done today!
Enjoy your BBQ, it's really cloudy here today.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
We had a lovely BBQ, bit windy but was lovely all the same.
I spied an envelope this morning for hubby.
Me "Is that your p60?"
Hubby "no it's just a wage slip"
Me "but wage slips don't come in the post like that did" I start to open the letter
hubby " yes you may open my post"
What do you think it was? Oh yes it was his p60! Men!
So tax credit end of year duly done.
I also had a sainsburys order delivered this morning, and the delivery guy came and said he couldn't deliver ny order as there was a problem with my card. So. Why had they packed my order? Anyway he asked me to phone customer services as apparently they had tried to phone me this morning but the number I had given them was wrong.
I phoned and then they asked me security questions one of which was my phone number.
" can I help you madam?
Err yes you can, tell me what the problem is and why I was supposedly called and you haven't got my phone number but you have just clarified the correct number when I went through security.
That stumped him.
The problem was the expiry date on my card, which then we sorted. But why was it wrong in the first place? The delivery driver was apologetic and then told me he would be late for his next delivery which would get the next customer a £10 voucher. But it was me that had the inconvenience so I have sent them a snotty email.0 -
Just logged on to tcb and £50 was sitting in the payable column :j so have requested that.
Also after investigating hubby's p60 earlier I noticed his tax code was wrong so inputted it into the calculator and given him a kick up the bum to call on Monday in case he has been overpaying.0 -

We've been to the sea life centre today. Used half price tickets to get in so for four of us it was £32 which isn't bad for a whole day out. DD2 and I went on a crocodile ride which went down a water slide at the end. I didn't know our picture was taken so hubby bought that £6, but its a good pic and its rare that dd2 and I go on rides together so will be nice to look back on. Another £10 spent on ice cream and coffee, but overall a fairly low spend family day out I think. We took a picnic so didn't spend anything at lunch time.0

Glad you had a good day, I always think those pics are expensive but we still buy them dont we and food is extortionate too!
I took picnic to London yesterday and only spent £5 on icecreams lol What are we all like!
Good luck with ebay. They seem to have loads of free wkds lately dont they, in all honesty we are only saving pennies from them but they must get loads from the final value fee anyway!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
EMFD was Feb 32  NOW Dec 2013 its Dec 2016
MF new target Dec 16 REACHED!! :j0 -
I think that's the point isn't it, we have stopped selling on eBay due to the fees so if we think it's free to list we don't mind the fvf so much.0
