I cant believe the OP has resurrected this thread after 2 years. But I'm glad because I needed a good laugh.
I did disprove this 'theory' 2 years ago (or a few pages back) and even included a diagram, the OP's idea does work for about 12 years at which point you end up taking your month off right at the start of the holiday year which means you can't book holiday until the following holiday year, 12 months later. So the system ends up breaking at this point or you can reset it by taking your holiday the end of the next year, but that means you need to wait nearly 2 years for another holiday.0 -

Whilst this is clearly a troll by this stage, I've wasted an hour reading this already and feel like I may as well reply to get my monies worth... What's the obsession with days between holidays and not, say, holidays per year?
All your current strategy is doing is taking holidays before you are entitled, and borrowing from the rest of the year, if you keep borrowing more holidays you'll run out.
Say in year 1, you start in Jan 1st, get 2 days holiday a month and take November off. Come Dec 1st you're at -2 days holidays. It takes you to Jan 1st to get back to 0. In year 2, you take October off, and at Nov 1st you're at -4 days holiday, and it takes you to Jan 1st to get back to 0.
You're not tricking anyone out of holidays except yourself, as by the time you get to January you're going to spend the whole year with a negative balance, which means that if you're actually allowed to take the holiday, you risk having to pay it back if you left during the year, and couldn't take another holiday for 11 months.

Putting aside the maths that 2.5 days accrued holiday over 10 months equals 22 days (2.5 x 10 = 25, fact fans), if 10 months is enough for 1 month off on holiday, it stands to reason that working 11 months would be enough for more than 1 month (another half a week).
So unless he's earning holiday that he isn't using, the "Average Joe" isn't working 11 full months for that same 1 month off - he's actually off for some of Mumbles' holiday too. Maybe that's why he never noticed?
In the unlikely event this has actually happened, I bet his HR dept used to p*ss themselves when he sneaked off for his "bonus" holiday all in one useless lump, at a time of the year when no-one else wanted to take any holiday.0 -
OP just go on benefits, then you get 12 months holiday which you can take anytime during the year, and I hear you also get Xmas and new year off, subject to it falling in Dec and Jan.0
