It doesn't matter if you only work at the same place for 2,3,5,10,20 or 30 years. The "system" doesn't work.
All the "system" amounts to is that you take more holidays than your contract allows and you hope your employer doesn't notice.0 -

simple choice
It would be better to take the 31 December off every year.
You don't want to be working on new years eve, you've got a BIG night ahead of you. You need time to get ready, plenty of rest because you are going to be up all night. You don't want to be working on new years eve.
Of course, you being a child that has never worked, or never been allowed to stay up past 7.00pm on new years eve, you wouldn't know that.
But we do :rotfl:0 -

You are really struggling now, you started of spouting about a months holiday and getting a pay rise, now you are down to just one day's holiday and you still won't let it go.
I've only got two things to say to you.
1. I KNOW you are my ex-wife, so stop stalking me.
2. I WANT MY SLADE CD's BACK0 -
But if you got those Slade cds back and you could only play them one day a year, would you rather play them a day earlier each year or on December 31st every year?0

If you only have one day's holiday per year is it better to take the same day every year (dec 31) OR take a day slightly earlier every year??? because if its better to take it earlier every year then better implies it has some value.
please don't post anything unless you can answer that question as you are only avoiding the issue and not progressing this post0 -

It's not better, we keep telling you that but you won't listen.

It is you who is avoiding the issue. You keep ignoring the fact that your scheme can't ever work because it involves taking holidays BEFORE you accrue them, which you have said time and time again YOU CAN'T DO!0
