I say
if you take the same week every year there will be 51 weeks to work before your next holiday
if you take it one week earlier every year there will only be 50 weeks between your holidays
which strategy looks better . I know which looks better for me
should you take the same week every year or move your week earlier every year????you say "Take it in the week that is best for you, not when some hair brained scheme says you should take it."
I say taking holidays earlier every year has some benefit especially if you are prone to "ranting"mumbles_one wrote: »where you gonna run to now???
To the same position I have always had, and that is the length of time you need to work AFTER your holiday, just to pay back holiday you took in advance gets longer.
You keep ignoring this, because you don't have an answer for it.
Here's a question for you
Which is better
Working and not taking your holidays till the end of the year, but being able to take them earlier if you want/need to.
or
Using up all your holidays in the first month, just for the sake of it, then having to work 11 months just to pay them back.0 -
Which is better, working 40 hours every week, or working 36 hours every week?
you get 1 week holiday a year you can take it when you like
what is better
1. take the same week every year ???
2. take an earlier week every year ???
start your own thread if you like because you don't seem to want to offer anything constructive to this one0 -

Do you have a dog? Do you hate taking it out for walks in the winter?

Just take it for a walk twice as long in the summer!Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0 -

its because it makes no sense. what I am saying is you have one week every calendar year and you can take it when you like.So after you take your week you must work until the next year and you can take any week you like. That's got to be clear???
Here's a question for you
Which is better
Working and not taking your holidays till the end of the year, but being able to take them earlier if you want/need to. so how do you know if you need the last week in december????because if you have taken your holidays already then in your world you are shafted
or you always keep a week of your holidays just in case you need to take a week at the end of december
or
Using up all your holidays in the first month, just for the sake of it, then having to work 11 months just to pay them back.
please resubmit the question in a more concise form0 -

If it makes you feel any happier, why not? Doesn't make any difference.mumbles_one wrote: »and if it is a benefit to do so???.
No.
Got that?0 -

Don't be stupid, if you have taken holidays before you accrued them then after you have taken them the time you work is paying them back, you are not accuring any holidays until you have paid back (or if you like, worked off) the holidays you took in advance.
Further evidence that you don't have a clue what you are talking about because you are too young to have worked.mumbles_one wrote: »please resubmit the question in a more concise form
The question is concise enough, it's just you can't answer it without looking like a pill*ck.0
