Savvy can I ask what mattress you did buy?I was put on this earth to accomplish a certain amount of things, at this rate I may never die!0

If Allstar4eva didn't post, raising the important points re: DSR and the so-called 100% Satisfaction nonsense, he wouldn't have got a refund at all. I know of 3 other people who experienced the same treatment, did not post on here and did not get a refund...
I'm really glad for Allstar4eva and really hope this thread serves as a warning to others...0 -
How's Tim's legal action doing?0

Well your first statement is a lie. And after all how would you know the truth????
And your second statement is also a lie, which you still haven't provided proof to back your lies up, even though I keep asking you. And that's because this is just a slur campaign that is full of obvious lies.
If you have a problem with me, then contact me direct.0 -
There's a big difference in making a few senisble and informative posts and engaging in what to most looks like a personal crusade against a fellow member, albeit one with whom he had a legitimate gripe against. The OP just can't let it lie, hopefully now he'll move on.
I do understand your point but perhaps if you were treated the way Allstar4eva, myself and others have been treated, the bee in your bonnet might take a while to leave too...0 -

I, and over 7,000 others, have read the original post....I have the slight advantage as I have direct experience of you and your versions of 'the truth'.Tim_Deegan wrote: »And your second statement is also a lie, which you still haven't provided proof to back your lies up, even though I keep asking you. Nope, no lies or slur campaign here. Just yet another disgruntled customer of yours that you have failed to intimidate into not posting on this site.Tim_Deegan wrote: »If you have a problem with me, then contact me direct.
Been there, done that. If I want to be screamed at, spoken to like a piece of dirt, have an eternal circular conversation, have the phone hung up on me etc etc, I'll give you a call.
But I do have one thing that I really want to share with you:
"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time but you can not fool all of the people all of the time"0 -
....pssst.....savvy you may want to edit your last paragraph before anyone else see's it.I was put on this earth to accomplish a certain amount of things, at this rate I may never die!0

My final point I made was not having a pop, but that as you supposedly asked for a fiirmer mattress I believe - well, read what the Coil Sprung (open coil) description says on their site
http://www.warrenevans.com/mattresses/
These type of threads usually end up becoming rather personal on all sides and any decent information usually lost
Have any of you sat down and read the posts made by Tim? He has digs at loads of companies (Ikea, Dreams, Tempur etc etc) on cost and quality. He has done this incessantly over a number of years yet I make a number of comments over a few months and it's a problem? Why don't people criticising me criticise Tim for regurgitating the same info over and over again year in year out?
I wasn't having a pop either but I was showing you that what Tim often promotes is buying online without trying which is not a particularly good idea unless you only care about cost.
Tim has got personal with a lot of people in the past on these boards. Have you seen the number of times moderators have been called?
And as you ask - yes I requested a firm mattress and if the mattress I received was too hard then I would have blamed myself but I asked for a firm mattress and it felt soft! So this counters your most recent criticism of me. Coil sprung mattresses are generally firmer than a pocket sprung however Warren Jones do make Firm and Extra firm pocket sprung mattresses. The one I have is plenty firm enough and it's not even their firmest product. Indeed it is firmer than the coilsprung mattress recommended by Tim so go figure. Incidentally I would have been fine if the mattress recommended by Tim was as firm as the Warren Evans coil sprung mattresses (or even their firm pocket sprung mattresses) but it was nowhere near.
I should also add that when I initially spoke to Tim I let him know which mattresses I had liked from stores so I did indicate clearly what I wanted in terms of firmness and support. Indeed I mentioned a specific mattress from one of the big stores that he often criticises so I was confident that whatever he recommended would have been much better than that - but to my surprise it was worse.
I mentioned this one so he knew what type of feel I was after...

When people get personal on threads as I say, whatever side, they diminish any argument they may have - that is the point I am making.
I am also out of this now as the thread ran its course IMO sometime ago0
