If you really want to know then find out for yourself like I had to. I'm just fed up with having arguments with people who think they are experts on consumer law, when you only have to speak to people who are in those specific trades to find out the truth. Remember there are exceptions to every rule, and every law, and for very good reasons.

Don't twist my words around. You are talking complete rubbish. I was involved in the design of a few models out of the 100's I sell. Those models were designed to be the best possible design for a mattress in their category. So if something is a useless gimmick, I'm not going to include it in the design. If there is something that is very good in mattress design, then it will obviously be included. So anyone can see that it is common sense that I'm going to practice what I preach.


I'm not a manufacturer, I'm a retailer who can sell whatever brand I like. The fact is that I choose very carefully which brands and which models I sell. I sell a wide range to suit different needs and tastes, but I refuse to sell poor quality or bad designs that are full of gimmicks. If anyone enquires about any product that has a small gimmick, then I will tell them what I think about it.

I think maybe you should think more about what you post then Tim as it was your words that I read. When others pick up on them you don't like it.

It is not unreasonable to ask you to back up your statements with facts. I'm sure there would be no argument if you pointed towards the 'facts' that you allude to.

I would also be interested to know if your profit margins are higher on the specific La Romantica products that you had a hand in designing?

It's not rude defending myself when you have completely twited my words around to say something completely different, in order to fit in with your agenda. If you don't understand then it is polite to ask.

That's actually none of your business. However my profit margin is actually lower on those products. So I would gain more if I pointed people towards other products.

You think he is being rude now? Buy a mattress from him then try to send it back through either his own '100% Satisfaction Guarantee' or under DSR, then you will see rude...

And Deegan's unsubstantiated 'judge'? Probably resides with the Which team that he claimed wanted his 'expert' advice on their mattress panel last year :rotfl:
