  • Sarah*a - maybe one was already ordered to his address? If you're convinced its the ip address do you have a different computer or phone with internet access you could use?

If that doesn't get you anywhere, please can you PM me the code?

    Regards
    Paul
  • Picked up a nice Kettle from Currys with my £5 voucher. All I had to pay was £2.79 :j. Last one within 50 miles! seems that the Illuminated kettle is very popular!. Needed a kettle so came in handy.

No gift guides in my local Currys or PC World. Although I did see a sign saying one 1 voucher per transaction.

Er, no... Even vouchers that were given BEFORE they realised what was going on are now invalid if the same postal address has been used more than once.

Er no...From the outset of the promotion, the website clearly stated that the offer was limited to 'one voucher per household'. You, me and everyone else had to 'tick' a box on the website to show our agreement to the 'one voucher per household' limit and other T&Cs before we could proceed with our voucher download.

As many people have abused the offer (by downloading many vouchers for their household), PCW have now taken measures to stop the abuse; including blacklisting vouchers, modifying the T&Cs on new vouchers so that the voucher clearly states 'the one voucher per household' limit to match their website T&Cs, etc.

As a consequence of the above, it is not unreasonable for PCW (it is irrelevant if was BEFORE or AFTER they realised what was going on) to invalidate vouchers if the same postal address was used more than once; especially as people had ticked the box on their website to show that they agreed with the 'one voucher per household' limit.

If you really think the PCW have changed the T&Cs of their offer, I suggest that you escalate to Trading Standards. However, I wouldn't hold out much hope that TS will uphold your complaint in your favour. :)

Well I'd hope no-one had used his address as he lives alone

I don't have the original code - but surely they will have it registered as already used?

  • Printed off my voucher a couple of weeks ago and only got around to using it today. Still loads of brochures in my local store (PCW/Currys in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead) - all stacked up in a dispenser by the door. Used it to buy a hand blender for £4.18 - I make a lot of soups during the winter and this is ideal :D - had no trouble using the voucher at the till, the SA even apologised for not being able to give me change! :D
