  • How would you have felt if you won one of the other substantial prizes? You'd never have received it!

Yes they have actually. Someone has already won the toshiba tablet, a couple have won the ipod shuffle, and someone else has reported that they won the DSi XL, all on the HUKD forum. I'm guessing anyone would be gutted if they won the £1000 cheque and couldn't claim cos they went overboard. ;)

Thank you for taking part in our £15million giveaway!

    Edit : 40 minutes later.......no e-mail yet :(.

I am glad you posted this as I thought I was going mad for a moment when I got this message. They are clearly tightening up on it already, still I suppose you can't blame them if people have been abusing it.

I doubt whether there will be anything left under £5 in the store when I get around to going in next week with my voucher.

Anyone actually had one emailed through yet??
  • It's worth looking on line and seeing if you can reserve before you go. By the evening almost anything under £5 has gone. However, if you see something you can reserve and pick it up. You can also have a look around the store first to see if they have anything reduced for clearance - I got some rather good PC speakers with a woofer that were marked down to £4.99 for clearance but weren't on the website so I got those instead.
  • if you have vouchers then wait until they restock as they are valid until mid december i think, btw basildon had loads of the guides in curry and pc world. although as i was buying some dvd r;s the assistant was saying we need to hid the ones we have left !!!

lucky printed off my vouchers this afternoon before they tightend up on it, still im happy as im going to use my remaining ones for CDr's

Went to a branch in northamptonshire today, the CS guy was fine with me until i produced my voucher - his attitude then changed completely and he was extremely rude to me even calling his colleague over and whispering something whilst pointing out the voucher. I did also not that the display box in the foyer was completely empty and any catalogues left in the shop had been placed near the till!! Even so there was no need for the reaction the CS guy gave me - good job i wasn't a mystery shopper!
