I'd go for the HTC models. If you want to be a sheep go with the iPhone. HTC's are generally cheaper - handset and apps.

  • What a surprise, another thread that has turned into the Apple fanboys versus the rest! The best advice to the OP is to read professional reviews of all the phones you are interested in and then make an informed choice on that basis. I also suggest going to a phone shop and playing with the units so you get a "feel" for them.

For the record, I am not an Apple fanboy. The only Apple device I own is an iPod Classic. I know four people who have iPhone 4s, though, and numerous who have the 3GS and none of them have any complaints. Android phones also look pretty good but I can honestly say I don't know of a single person who owns one.

Android needs to sort out all the fragmentation and sell it as an Android phone, not a HTC phone or a SE phone or a xxx phone (you get the picture).

Thats not going to happen its an Open not Closed OS . You make a phone and decide what OS you are going to use Android are not phone makers .
Must be doing something eight judged on the sales figures 886% year growth .

Its very very clear that in the current market for high end smartphones the user has multiple choices . Positives and negatives for all reviews ask other users try the phones .Loads of information available .

My choice was Samsung Galaxy S as the screen was just a bit better than HTC Desire and i could find no justification for spending a lot extra on Iphone . That was the crunch a lot extra was not going to result in a lot more of anything . Ok we all know after purchase it can be a case of wish i had bought xxx instead but in my case i still cannot find anything extra in the IPhone over and above the Galaxy . Apps got all i want FREE usability likewise . But next purchase gets the same treatment can it do what i want the way i want is it Value For Money and next time that could be the IPhone 6 .

i was considering the 4 for a long time had a 3gs-as much ias i liked it the 4 wasnt much of an improvment and i chose the desire hd in the end which to me is much more advanced many more features like bt to any phone/computer and youre not stuck with just using itunes

also the timstamp on convos if youre having a text convo it will show the initial time but not the time of each text when you want to look back on when u sent something its annoying

    little niggly things like that

also i think my camera is amazing on hd but thats personal preference
    What goes around-comes around
