I too am intrigued by cheesy nabs. Most fascinating name for a dish I've heard for ages - even better than the 'lob scows' I discovered in Wales last year!
:rotfl:glad I got you all thinking
, cheesy nabs, is our name for nice bread, cheese, ham pate etc, a nice easy picky tea, now I would like to know what 'lob scows' are ?? welcome to the thread by the way.
NPM, dad is turning over in his sleep and falling out of the bed, we have an old duvet on the floor to give him a soft landing, we will have to look for a matress to put on the floor, thanks again all for the good wishes. He is still very confused, but he is eating really well which is good news.
Bitsy, glad you got the little kitty xx
We got mums shopping for her, and then took her little fat dog out for a really long walk in the woods, apparantly she has not moved since :rotfl:
Have good evenings all xx0 -

Good news re Feather Bow - she's reserved for us and is hopefully coming a week today :T:T:T Not sure why they couldn't ring me back like I asked but hey ho
Got wrong date for Christmas Fair - I am such a blonde. I really need to practice my listening and reading skills. I even had the bit in the paper with me and it said 20th

Have had quite a busy day mainly baking, plus making copious amounts of tea for DH & DS.
They have still got a bit more racking and hooks to put up tomorrow and DH's 6ft workbench has to go in too (It was his Grandad's and as solid and heavy as a rock with a huge vice at the end)
I am off for a shower and get into my jammies

Just a quickie as I have to get some mittens done to go with scarf for DS's GF's birthday next Friday need to post them early in the week.
This morning a neighbour came round and had a natter, so that disappeared, after lunch I decided to try making a ginger cake in the SC. Had no Black Treacle so just used Golden Syrup, and watched the tennis and Federer lost! Murray lost last night, so it is Tennis -v- GP tomorrow arghhh!
NPM could the school not try to have the older boy look after Noah at breaks/lunch. May be good for both.
Molly & Essex Girl Hope you are both OK in hospital, and improving.
Bramble1 I rather think the £100 would be intended towards things for your home/bottom drawer.

Have watched Edward Scissorhands today....havent watched it for ages and I must admit I viewed it through different eyes this time...it is supposed to be a character based on Tim Burton himself who is rumoured to be on autistic spectrum and I can now see lots of references to it in the film...that made it a sad film for me.....then I watched Babe on tv which always makes me cry....OH was laughing at me for being a softie;)
We have enjoyed some ahem us time today as it is 4 years since our first date...i wont bring in any a la Hester comments
