Oh my word, that woman!!:eek::eek: Her husband looked really embarassed...I will never be able to listen to She's Like the Wind again.

And as for the polish girl, I would have smacked the boyfriend soon as he walked in, unforgiveable. The male midwife was lovely, I'd have no problem with a male MW, mind by time I get to that stage Dr Crippen could be at the end of the bed and I wouldn't care less. :D

Glad you feel better Annibee. :)

    Hi all
Hi Krystal. I've read Adventures in Tandem Feeding and am halfway through How Weaning Happens, so I really wanted to talk so someone who has done it, to know how they decided which way to go, as I am undecided but currently more in favour of weaning I think.

What has your experience been? I'm really interested to know as much as possible about all this! I never thought I'd 'still' be BFing when pregnant with the next.
I didn't decide to tandem feed, I just planned that she would wean herself because I let DD1 self wean, it didn't seem fair to do any different... I just happened to fall pregnant in between...

I've found it does get quite uncomfortable sometimes, not always... I also found that in the beginning her feeding tailed off... Then she suddenly increased the amount she was feeding, which was about when I think it changed to colostrum... Now she feeds about 2/3 times per day mostly in the morning, never in the evening...

The only thing I am concerned about is that she's suddenly decided she has to feed from both sides at each go... Not sure how she'll feel if there happens to be a baby on the other side...

I haven't read anything BTW... Was going to... Just never found the time...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
