Also, if you have a sweet tooth try using treacle instead of sugar/honey. It's very high in iron & magnesium. Obviously you don't want to be eating loads of the stuff, but its quite nice as far as nutritional supplements go
I actually put a bit in my Raspberry leaf tea.0 -
Hiya girls - sorry I just don't seem to have the time to read back at the moment - although congratulations to Sarah Angel and lwcus - well done!! Thank you so much for all the good wishes that you have sent.
Lena (pronounced Lee-na for whoever asked - sorry can't remember~!) is so far being a really good girl - likes her food and is the best of my 3 for feeding - going about 3 hourly which is not too bad - although booooobs are a bit sore - they are improving!
Will try and attach photos - no real birth story as such because it was an elective section - but not anywhere near as bad as I had feared!

Hospital Bag: 2 things that will be top of my list for this (my 2nd time) will be thermal socks, my feet turned to ice in the later stages even with ordinary socks on, and a powerful fan and water sprayer, I was so hot my hair was literally dripping with sweat.AKA: PC

Knock, knock! Hello!
I'd like to join. I got my BFP on Tuesday and am 6 weeks pregnant with my second. I did lose my first pregnancy early on so I'm not counting my chickens yet, but baby should be due 23 September and I am planning another homebirth.
I was wondering, is anyone else on here breastfeeding their previous while pregnant with the next? My DD and I still have a BFing relationship (she is 18 months) and I am wondering now whether to wean her to enter the world of tandem nursing. I'd love to hear other people's stories. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

welcome skint chick.
Just to let you know i'm still here at home, sent hubby to work but hes told them he may need to leave before end of shift.
I feel tired but not sure if I should try to sleep or wether that will stop it all. Been counting and they're coming between 8mins and 5 mins lasting between 20 and 40secs. Tens machine is working beautifully. I put it on almost straight after posting my last post.
Does anyone know if hospital supply towels or do I take my own for bubs and me?
thanks
