Yes it does - I've heard of it happening with taste as well. It's really interesting actually and I hope it doesn't make labour too intense for you!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
I also get that script error with Firefox when I go on the secret MSE club. TBH I rarely go on there now as it does my nut in.

Just wanted to say hi! Have been away for a while and really busy - and then never had time to write anything when I've tried to catch up!
I did manage to spot some lovely pics from Lilian and MV I think - congratulations.
Cannot believe that tomorrow it'll be 3 weeks to go! I'm almost glad i can't find the list to see how near the top I am......0 -
I have my scan booked for the 21st February i will be exactly 12 weeks and it's one of my very best friends birthdays so i think that's a good omen! I talked to the midwife about my medical history and she says i may have to go under consultant care but she's not sure so she's going to see if i do or if i get bounced back to the midwife team. I am hoping for the latter. Right off to make myself a cuppa now and get on with sifting through all this info!Does anyone else get "Unresponsive script" on the secret facebook page. It's really annoying and keeps freezing my Firefox
Congratulations Sarah and 2girls!! Pics?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hello girls hope everyone is doing ok.
I've not long got out of hospital. I was put on an anti depressant yesterday, one I've been on pre-pregnancy but it was a smaller dose. I started vomiting uncontrollably and brought up dark blood, then bright red blood.
I was taken into hospital, put on 2 drips (the normal one to hydrate you and a b vitamin drip to help with the sickness). I was also given zofran and something beginning with r.
I wish I could have stayed at the first hospital but there were no beds so I had to be transferred to another hospital and it was horrible
My catheter/drip messed up. I accidentally dropped it on the way to the loo so instead of the drip flowing into my hand the blood in my hand flowed up the tube. It should have righted itself but the blood clotted and the rest of my drip couldn't get through. I asked repeatedly for it to be checked but it never was.
I asked if this could affect baby (the reaction to the tablet) and I was told 'no but nothing is impossible' so I asked to be checked over. They tried to listen to baby's heartbeat with a stethoscope but I'm still only 12 weeks so it didn't work. I was told I'd get a doppler - which I never got. Not one person read my maternity notes. I kept getting asked if I had a water infection - it's in my notes that I have a minor one.
Luckily I didn't need an endoscopy to check what was going on in my stomach - just as well, it was only when they told me that I wasn't having one that they mentioned it carried the risk of miscarriage!
I had to discharge myself in the end. I was feeling better physically but was just so down mentally and couldn't believe how I'd been treated. The bloods I should have had in the morning if I'd stayed in the hospital I'm doing at my local hospital today - where I'm going to insist on a doppler or something.
I hope I did the right thing. I feel so much better at home, the hospital just really stressed me out.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

That's terrible!!! (((((hugs))))))
Crickey, I would be complaining to high heaven about your treatment and ask for a scan to check the little one is ok, which I am sure he/she is but better to be safe than sorry!!!!
I think someone on here tried to use a stethescope and it just is no use for baby. You would have thought the hospital would know these things!!!!!
Chin up sweetie, hopefully your nice hospital folks can sort things out and get you on tablets which will agree with you and we are all here to "talk" to as and when you need it.
I am around throughout the nights for the next 6 anyway so feel free to post or PM me if you wanna talk. I am never too far away from the computer (when not working!!!!)

I'm just so glad to be out of there, it seems like there wasn't enough staff to go round and it's probably why I was forgotten a lot.
I'm wary to go back on any sort of anti depressant now, grr can't believe this happened.
I will be asking to be checked out properly tomorrow. I feel fine baby wise, only had a sore belly because I was throwing up so much and no sharp pains/bleeding etc.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Hmm, I got it in the cheek the other week and I don't mean on my face!!!!!!!. Midwife was very steady handed though!!! lol
Sarah, congratulations on the swift arrival of young Oliver!!!! Piccys would be lovely for us to cooo over!!!!
2(3)Girlsforme, wow, two posted at the same time!!! Congratulations on little Lena, so very pleased for you and piccys from you too would be wonderful!!!!!
Well ladies, my brain is working overtime tonight and I just wondered if anyone in the Aberdeeshire/Tayside area has used or heard good things about a Doula nearby??? I am thinking ahead and just wondering if it's a route I might go down.
I guess part of me is a little worried that DH might not be here when the time comes due to work etc and I am terrified of labour/giving birth on my own. I too, don't have any close friends or relatives that I could call on to take me to hospital/ stay with me and although I am sure I probably could cope by myself, I am not sure I want too.......
On another note, I am being kicked to death!!!! The little person inside me seems to be gaining strength every day and some of the kicks really hurt!!! Argh. Anyone else about this stage getting the same????? My ribs, my belly, my hips, my foof , there is no end to this childs reach!!!!! Grrrrr:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -

It's been a long time since I was in a hospital but that's just shocking treatment.
I was on anti depressants (citolapram) a few years ago and I remember all to well what it was like before they kicked in so my thoughts are very much with you.
See what they say tomorrow and perhaps they can come up with something as a compromise to assist......
Hate the throwing up thing, gives me horrendous back ache.
Get some sleep and hopefully things will be better tomorrow. (but as I say, I am here, appearing all night!!!!!)
