    Need advice please ladies!
Had to walk quite a distance and quickly this morning (stupid buses) and now I'm hobbling about the office like an old woman, my back and hips are stiff and sore. Will going the gym tonight still be ok - will it help ease things or will it make it worse??? Normally I'd go and stretch it out but not sure if that's what you're supposed to do when pg?

Yeah, I'm with Lilian, it'll make it worse. If it is PGP or anything like that then rest is the best thing.

    Gorgeous baby pics btw. :)

Lillian and MV - what two gorgeous little boys you have there. I have to say both of your birth stories sent me into a right tizz but seeing such adorable end results make me think I can take on anything now :)

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
That's excellent! My OH felt ours in the early hours of New Year's Day ;) Though baby is terrible for cooperating; he will move, I say "quick, he's moving", OH puts hand on tummy, baby stops moving :rotfl:

i think its a baby thing. mine co-operates a lot more now but in early days (and all way thro) with DS1 the minute i told hubby he was kicking he stopping until hubby went away again.

funny thing was around christmas i actually WHISPERED to hubby "quick quick"......... took a while to sink in that actually baby could prob hear a whicper as much as a normal voice!! :rotfl:
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Lilian - Sam is such a gorgeous little boy, and I love the way he is holding the teddy :) Aww so excited now!!!

On the subject of names, we have two lists going (boy/girl). In case anyone wants name inspiration here are our choices:

    Lily
    Jessica
    Mya
Maisie (weirdly this came from a dream I had where we had a girl and called her Maisie, woke up loving it and so does hubby)
    Frankie
    Willow

    Sebastian
    Spencer
    Leo
    Freddie
    William
    Benjamin

Middle names will be either Grace or Andrew (dependant on flavour!)

There were quite a few more names on there the other day but managed to cut them down. Just have to see what baby looks like now :)

Hngrymummy, with every post you make im expecting the next one to say im off to the hospital. :rotfl: it sounds if bubs is trying to scare you. Do you think youare in early labour or is it late stage soreness? I hope for your sake he hangs on in there but another new baby for us to coo over would be nice too :D

I loved having the tens machine, it was a weird sensation but I really think it helped. I was given it at the hospital to use both times though, so never rented or bought one. im tempted this time with hopefully being at home. Teenie if you want to go halfers, then ill drive up to you and pick it up for me to use 5 days later :rotfl:

Sorry, don't mean to get your hopes up too much :D
I can't figure out if it's late pg soreness or baby getting me ready for labour. Knowing me, sprog will end up being late but still giving me scares along the way. Certainly I've been getting cramps, backache and diawoo the past few days. Oh well, we'll see what happens. I reckon it'll either be before my TENS machine arrives or 2 weeks late :rotfl:

Book-wise, we got the Baby Whisperer. I've read quite a bit of it, and it seems quite reasonable. I don't agree with all of it, so I'll only follow the bits I like.

Nic - Elliot is light blue with a touch of white, Oliver is green. It's a sort of yellowy green with a blue border. James Is grey with a little green, and also some blue. Can't quite place where abouts the blue is though

There are some names that I won't give the colour of, simply because I don't like the colour and won't be able to give a non-judgemental description of it IYSWIM. And I really hope that I don't offend anyone with the colours.

Must get more motivation. Am really struggling, and still have things to do around the house :(
If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:

Leo is my DS's name - I've never regretted picking it and he's been able to spell his name from an early age with only the 3 letters lol! :rotfl:

Not sure about names yet - 3 weeks till my 20 week scan where hopefully we will find out the sex of the baby if we can - will then get thinking cap on
  • We are stuck for boy names as well, bit of a problem as we are having another boy! lol Our girls name was Pearl. Really at a loss for a boy name though, we like a few but so far nothing has really jumped out at us.

I'm 21 weeks today & soooo very tied all the time. I seem to be on a go slow, everything is taking a lot longer than usual.
