I've been keeping an eye on BP its settled down since last week and is ok this morning. I had blood pressure tablets for 5 years and was virtually off them before found out I was pregnant and stopped altogether once I knew, everyone has been suprised I've been doing so well on that front.
I think we are finding out flavour. I said it was up to OH and he wants to at moment.:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
My bp at my last check was 90/60 which is pretty normal...for a child apparently! I think the highest its been is 117/700

i checked my midwife notes and my BP has been 90/60 the whole way through so far. I think thats why I felt quite lightheaded in the first 10 weeks.
Conrgatulations Jenapples :T
Teenie im panicking more about pain this time more than before. I think its because I feel so far form the hospital and dont have child care. So im worried I wont be able to go to the hospital at the drop of a hat if needed.
Im still hoping for a home birth. But now im worrying that it will take too long to get to the hospital if the baby gets stuck etc.
I love reading birth stories, but I must admit I found MV's hard to read (sorry MV) she just went through so much, I dont think I could handle that.
I think my biggest fear is needing forceps or ventouse and of course an episiotomy. Then next fear is the spinal for a cesearean.
i keep trying to be rational and think that the last 2 came out with no bother so no reason why this one wont.
I think ill manage at home for quite a while (managed to 10cm with DS) as i was more relaxed, could get in and out the bath, make tea, bounce on my ball, lie on my bed etc. Its having the kids here im worried about.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

LOL think we have the same fears. I do feel for you regarding childcare etc and the distance to hospital. Obviously it's not something you can plan for, if only babies came when they were supposed to!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Mornings
:mad: at my OH too, had a row yesterday over the fact that he needs to use gloss paint and I don't want to be around because of the fumes, so he started dictating I had to go stay with my parents all week (good hour further from work in rush hour traffic!!) Hungrymummy & RBG you have my sympathy as he often gets a bit like yours with doing something he thinks will help which actually creates more work ...
Actually DD woke up this morning at 4.30am and I lay awake for a wee while thinking about MV's birth story. It did get me thinking about how I would cope at home in that sort of pain, especially if the hospital turns me away. I think I seriously need to look at TENS and relaxations CD's. That is my plan for the weekend when I get paid.
I have a hypno / relaxation CD if you want a copy, not tried it yet myself but have been thinking the same thing.
Labour vibes to those who need them, flower (& Makeit3 I think). Madbird, hope the day improves and the headaches start to ease, sounds rotten0 -

(((((((Hugs hun))))))) They do think they are helping but really they aren't...can he not do the painting at the weekend so you could arrange to go out somewhere like visit your mum or something....my hubby says he is packing me off to my mums when he is painting which I am totally freaking out about as it's the last place I want to be...I would rather go be at a friend's house lolThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

Also got my appointment with the consultant next weds, and am really hoping that he will agree to a planned c-section for this one- I will be going ready to argue my case lol and most people know not to mess with a hormonal pregnant woman lol.......Well, I think DH is starting to realise that :rotfl:
