Absolutly TONS new on ebay - i could spend a fortune (search for slogn baby grows).digitalphase wrote: »Can anyone recommend a good baby book? Would like to have one that covers pregnancy, birth and preferably up to the first year at least. I have a Miriam Stoppard one I got free with a pregnancy magazine, but it's a bit old fashioned. I was looking at the 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' book, and it seems good?
shameless plug but I have just listed these if any are any good. (PM me incase i don't see it on here).loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Evening ladies,
Just thought I would let everyone know I was induced yesterday and gave birth to my son at 12.57 today weighing 7.6 lbs. We have named him Oliver Alan Stephen (the middles names after both our deceased dads) he is so adorable but every so lazy. I have no idea how to add a picture sorry.
Jen
Congratulations:j:j:j:j:j
Guys, did I miss the boat again???
Thanks for all your kindnesses.
digital I would keep the nhs book which covers most things, and not worry about baby books. They only work if the baby has read them. You will know, better than any book.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Morning All
Been awake since 3 again, but no chance of dropping back off as am annoyed with DH :mad:
Rant alert feel free to ignore.
DH went to bed about half an hour before me, and would apear to have had some kind of tizz about shutting the door to the little bedroom 'in case we have visitors'. So he's piled everything up inside the room in some random order and with heavy things on top of smaller fragile things. I WAS going to be going through stuff in there over the next couple of days, as we currently have a chest of drawers and a wardrobe in there with some of our clothes in, as well as other 'stuff'. Before, I could get into the room (even in my current whale-like state) and still access most things we needed, but now I can't get into the room easily or get to anything because of the way he's piled things up. He's even put my nearly packed hospital bags in there where I can't get to them :mad::mad: And all the baby stuff (steriliser, sleeping bags, baby slings etc) are even further out of reach. I've now got to spend time undoing all of his piling up just to get back to where I started from. Then he has a grump saying that I always tell him off when he does tidying up and don't let him do any. Well that's because you make things impossible for me when you do any 'tidying'.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :mad::mad:
Sorry, needed to get that out. Probably won't feel too much less annoyed till I've sorted the room out, and even then I'll be annoyed for having taken up time that could've been better spent. And I'll be tired.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0
