Morning
Sorry to hear your MIL has passed Grateful but she is at peace now. ((hugs)) to you and your DH and family.
Congratualtions Jenapples on little Oliver
Good luck 2Girls
Ema I love the Willow Tree figures, my DH buys me one every now and again he got one with Mum, Dad and Baby and I love it when DD was born. Going to look for another one suitable for this baby.
Meant to say yesterday thanks to the ladies who have recently posted their birth stories. I love reading them but it also gives an insight to every scenario. Smartie I'm sure it was you who at the time said you weren't up to doing it as you had to get your head round everything, no much wonder hun, but well done for putting it down into workds and hope you are all better now.
Actually DD woke up this morning at 4.30am and I lay awake for a wee while thinking about MV's birth story. It did get me thinking about how I would cope at home in that sort of pain, especially if the hospital turns me away. I think I seriously need to look at TENS and relaxations CD's. That is my plan for the weekend when I get paid."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Good Morning everyone :j,
Nothing to say to contribute to the thread from me...
I'm waiting, waiting, waiting... for something to happen. Something lke the start of labour would be good!!!:T
I thought that was it yesterday evening: unusual bck pain, period cramping pain and then some odd contraction-like feeling that kept coming and going. But no. Nothing. The baby is either a practical joker and wanted to torment his mother, or it was me reading things that were never there :rotfl:.
So back to waiting for me...
Hope you all have a lovely day.0 -

How are you?
Sorry DP hunni I fell asleep on the sofa and hubby woke me at 4am to get me to got o bed where I passed out again until his alarm went off :S
I have the Miriam Stoppard book and find it quite useful but I have another one that i just can't lay my hands on right now coz I have been reading it and set it down somewhere lol
Hngrymummy you have my sympathies and I can understand why you are so annoyed.....my hubby and I started clearing the front bedroom so that we can decorate it and move into it as it is the biggest of our bedrooms and I was going to be sorting out a load of stuff in it but it is now so jam packed with carp again I can't get into it as he has put all the heavy boxes that are to go into the loft right at the door and I can't shift themMen are sooooooo :mad::mad::mad: lol Mine did nothing yesterday coz he 'wasn't feeling very well' (frickin hungover more like!!!!!!!) I didn't get to see my dad yesterday or anything was stuck in the frickin house all day
Well thanks for that I feel so much better knowing my hubby isn't the only one that is being totally unthinking at time (although he is a star normally I think I;m just grumpy lol)
Labour vibes to those in need, sticky vibes to those in need too and lets just have a huge big group hug xxxxxxxThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Morning ladies, i'm going to try to be more positive as I'm 20 weeks today!:)
However I have the headache from hell, a text from a friend to say they are in hospital and the joys of signing on later today!
Congrats to jen, hope you and little one are both well.
Hugs to Grateful and your OH and family xx
Re books, not sure I'll bother. My SIL got to hung up over them all if baby wasn't doing what the book said. I might see what library has first, very MSE! The Baby Whisperer book may tempt me, always found the programmes interesting even before TTC. Sad that Tracey Hogg died so young.
Sorry if missed anything else, labour vibes, stay put vibes, get well vibes etc as appropriate. x:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
Madbird you've been getting a lot of bad headaches recently, I know it's common in pregnancy I have had a couple of biggies but have you seen midwife about them?
Ohh and 20 weeks, when's your scan?"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Lillian, I was trying to remember who suggested prune juice the other day (just starting to get stuff for my bag). When do you drink it, during labour or afterwards, or does it help whenever (wouldn't want it working during labour, yikes!!)
Aftre labour, definitely - it really will help, just a glass a day.

Hi Teenie, my scan is on Thursday at 9am!
I seem to wake up with headaches, used to get a lot before pregnant. They stopped when first pregnant tho, but in last couple of weeks got worse again. I've a consultant appointment next Wednesday so will mention then. Think its a vicious circle of can't sleep, get tired, get headache, start feeling down, can't sleep etc etc.:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -

Yeah for scan, are you finding out the flavour?"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
