Does anyone else's baby get hiccups? I can only assume that is what mine has, but it ain't half a weird feeling when it's happening.
Every single day, at least once, more like 3 times a day. I think I'm going to have a very hiccuppy baby :) It gets quite annoying though - it was cute at first :)
Reposted as I think it got lost.
This was regarding bras...Fingers crossed I get my water birth - if so I'll be naked or if I lose confidence I'm wearing an old bikini top that was going to throw away anyway. But on dry land I hadn't even thought about that. Can I go braless? It's more comfy with no bra, I usually take mine off at the end of the day - but I guess I'm lucky cos my bb's haven't got big :(
    Hi
My daughter is due to have her 1st baby in 4 weeks, which means i'm due to be a nanny for the 1st time.

I've resisted buying my grandaughter to be stuff, except for the travel system, and i've just bulked bought the baby wipes from boots, and the odd itemof clothing from tesco.

But today i bought a lovely t shirt from tesco which said ' i'm the little sister' as her dad has a little boy.

I';ve seen lots of stuff that says 'i love my mummy daddy etc'

but what i want is something which says

'my nanny loves me' or 'i love my nanny'

or something like that, so has anyone seen anything out there?

Plus what are the best places to join, to get some money off vouchers.

    thank you
I'm sure I've see nanny ones. Not sure if it's my imagination but it might have been sainsburys. But i wouldn't bet my life on it. I'm pretty sure I saw sleep suits or vest as part of a set where it had a nan one in. You can get them online...a google search brings up quite a few.

Also, to add to my list of things - make sure you have lots of prune juice for after the birth - I was prescribed iron tablets which have blocked me up, and even if they hadn't then my episiotomy stitches have made going to the toilet scary! (I can't remember if I put this in my original list but even if I did, it's worth repeating!) You can get 3 cartons of concentrated Tesco's own brand for £2.30 at the moment.
Prune juice is gross. I hear iron tablets are harsh, if I'm told to have iron I'm going to ask if I can take Spatone instead. I took it from weeks 12 - 30 when I was feeling really lethargic and found it helped. It's supposed to be gentler on the stomach. And I didn't notice an increase in constipation. I imagine I'll be back on the Fybogel and copious amounts of water after birth anyway (was battling some sort of IBS/Constipation problem) before getting preggers.

    @GFH - big ((hugs))

@Fairy - wow to your baby shower. You have an amazing OH and friends. I'm very jealous (of your friends), my OH is amazing too...although he wouldn't think of planning a baby shower.

Saint Chris, this website came up when I googled ' I love my nana' t shirt. It's quite expensive though. Im sure I've seen them in a shop somewhere. I was looking for I love my Gran, or Grannys little girl, and all they had was Nana. But have no idea where that was.

@MV - not sure if you'll see this, but thanks for your birth story. Sorry it didn't go to plan. Seems like no births are going to plan lately. I haven't even written a birth plan and never intended to...my only plan is I want a water birth but I'm so trying to remain open minded about everything for forceps to epidurals, so I don't get disappointed.
