Krystaltips wrote: »Oh, I had that with DD1... She used to hold it and get all distressed but by the time she got to the loo / potty couldn't get it going again, it would go on all day until she physically couldn't hold it anymore and it just fell out... It did get better eventually... She doesn't still do it now anyway... But she was a 'mare to train all round really...
I thought she'd be a complete nightmare as she's so very stubborn, day 1 she sobbed for 5 hours cause the nappies had gone she only stopped because I'd got Nanna and "Graddie" to come round and break her mood. By day 6 though she was dry in the day and going herself, and is a self proclaimed good girl "cause me doing weewees myself":rotfl:But the poo's either don't come out at all or she seems to get no warning and she screams while she does it in her knickers bless her.
Today is day 9 and we are 2 days without a poo I've asked her so many times do you need one/do you want to try for one, that the cheeky so-and-so said to me "no more talking Mammy please":rotfl:
Are boys easier or more difficult to train? as I'll have that to look forward toAKA: PC

thanks lillian - my only fear is that cos OH works nights itll be upto me to take bubs upstairs on my own and figured it'd be easier to carry baby instead of baby and basket.

Ah ok, that sounds fair! Although it isn't as hard as I'd thought it would be to carry the basket, I do my night time changes downstairs and it's pretty easy, I suppose it depends what your stairs are like though. We're very well thanks, I can't believe he's ten days old today! dusty I think its sensible to have the same thing upstairs and downstairs, esp a big thing, if you can afford it. I have changing mats one up and one down. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Boys are historically slow at training but I really think it's down to the child rather than the sex of the child... A was also ridiculously stubborn... I would see she needed a wee and sit her on the toilet and nothing would happen, then 2 seconds after pulling her pants up she'd pee herself... That must have taken some willpower and bloody strong pelvic floor to sit on a toilet when you need a wee and not actually wee!!Princess_Coupon wrote: »:rotfl:

The poo coming out with no warning sounds pretty much how it would be for Aimee after spending a whole day holding it in... She just couldn't hold it in anymore and she'd cry while it came out... It was really irritating at the time because to start with she was fine pooing on a potty/toilet then started messing around after a couple of weeks... Used to really infuriate me... Same as when she went through 5 pairs of trousers in a day from holding herself then peeing a little bit at a time instead of just going and doing a big wee...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
