Morning All
Congrats Hibbi and Bufger, lovely pic, so cute!
Not posted much as dont seem to have time to breathe at the moment! Did a craft fair yesterday which was pants, sold one thing but people took my cards so hoping to drum some business up from that.
Had a really odd dream last night, it was one of those ones that sticks with you the next day....
....I dreamt that I had had the baby at 24 weeks (so aorund now), a little girl that weighed 1lb 3.5oz, god know why that weight is so specific. Anyway, I had had the baby but didnt know, I was at home when I found out, my mum came and told me then OH came home and announced he was going surfing with his brother. Cue distraught me begging him to take me to hospital to see her (her name was Lola which is actually our girls name) because I hadnt seen her yet. Next thing I know Im sat in the street hysterical because he wouldnt take me. Then Im not sure what happened but we were at mine OH's first house where there was a bit of family party going on. Lola was there but no one put 2+2 together and realised she was mine and Id had her early.
God it was so real, and scary. In fact Im welling up now just thinking about it. I hope to god it wasnt a premonition (sp?), dd went 6 days over so I doubt it but you never know!
Anyhoo, hope everyone is well! xxx
PS - Nice bump MV, mine is 7/8 weeks behind you and I look like a whale, damn 2nd baby syndrome.Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

Lovely pic Bufger :T
Well, it seems as though my tummy has figured out that porridge contains milk, so that's a no go for breakfast now. Back to toast I think, unless anyone has any suggestions??
If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
MV, you have such a lovely neat bump. I'm only 24+4 and i think mine is at least the same size as yours.
Bufger, Ethan is beautiful, congrats:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

2 girls if you ever have any questions about the GD feel free to PM me I'm happy to answer and less scary than google. Look at it this way if they do diagnose it and you get treatment then hopefully this one shouldn't get to the size of the other 2 xx I also had polyhydramnios this time so if you do have extra fluid its no walk in the park but also doesn't necessarily cause any problems either x
hngry I spent the last few weeks I could only have omlette for breakfast, all cereals and even scrambled eggs on toast had too much sugar it was not fun so I feel for you x

DueMarch, those vivid dreams are awful, and so draining aren't they. I find they are worse and more vivid when I am tired, but they make me tired, so it gets to be a bit of a cycle. I seem to be sleeping ok at the moment though, fingers crossed.
Liking the bump pictures, I am still quite small, and 2 of my pregnant friends are due to pop this week, so I feel a bit puny next to them! Someone told me I didn't look pregnant yesterday - I'm 30 weeks tomorrow, when will I stop looking just porky?!0 -
Congratulations Hibbi, everyone's choosing lovely names at the moment. One of our rabbits is called Poppy because OH knew it was one of my favourite names for a girl and he doesn't like it, so we couldn't call a baby the same name as a pet :rotfl:
MV, very nice bump- I'm about the same size as you and two weeks behind(?), and people have been commenting that I'm too small to such an extent that I was starting to believe them...
Is anyone NOT an expert when your'e pregnant.
ASHeta - you asked me ages ago about names and I forgot to reply. I'd like a Hindu name which is easy to pronounce and spell. We're thinking of Nikhil, Arun or Kiran at the mOment. Neel and Kamran are also possibilities. What do people think?
Have a good day all!
Ooo, that was a long time ago. We're having the same dilemma with Albanian names that sound and spell okay in English; it's quite hard because so many of their letters are pronounced differently, so even if a name sounds the same in both languages it's spelt completely different. OH was also adamant that the name had to be "traditional" and not a European import, but we drew up a shortlist the other day of three names that I'm pretty sure all have French origins. :rotfl:. Not complaining though, because they're all ones I really like.
I really like Kiran. I also like (as Chakani said) that Nikhil can be both traditional and Anglicised. OH and I were discussing Ardan for a long time for that reason, because he could be known as Dani if he wanted to shorten it.
Ticklepenny- thanks for the advice re: travel. Finally got EHICs after months of paperwork (as OH isn't British we had to prove he was entitled to NHS care before we could ask for him to be entitled to the EHIC). Eurostar isn't transferable, but if anything happened we'd be able to cover the cost of new tickets if necessary, so we're willing to risk it.
Do we assume that no news is good news from tigtag?
Last day of work today :j:j:j. I'm saving all my emails to a memory stick and then planning on sneaking off... Very exciting! I can start nesting on Monday... after I've found my passport so OH doesn't have to go to France on his own next weekend!

Morning ladies,
Yes, tigtag posted to say the induction was going slowly so hopefully things have improved for her!!!
Hibbi, congratulations and I think it's very wonderful that your daughter is called Poppy having been born on rememberance Sunday. A lovely thought and a very meaningful name for her.
Buf, what a little cutie pie!! He's adorable!!!
Well, I went to sainsbury yesterday as I was in Dundee anyway (30+miles away). Got loads of Johnsons wipes which I really like and some creams etc all nicely half price which is always good.
I did also get a thing called a bliss pack which is two gel filled pads that you use to calm your b**bies when you are breastfeeding and I thought that reduced from £10 to £2.50 they would be better than savoy cabbage but they went through the till at just 50p so even better!!! Worth keeping an eye out for as that is cheaper than the cabbage!!!!! It's a green package (ha ha, lighter than cabbage) and pretty slim.
OH was complaining that I wanted to put some stuff I have won on ebay and the like into our barn while the house is being done up and he didn't want it out there and ended up having me in floods of tears. Poor man didn't know what had hit him!!! lol. I pretty much keep my crying to a minimum round him and he's a little uncomfortable with the whole show emotion type thing. But give him his due, he did come and give me a cuddle and a kiss even if he did make fun of me about it later on in the day.
I seem to be about the only one about who feels a little uncomfortable with baby stuff round the house. I always remember my Dear Mum saying it was unlucky. Silly I know.
But OH has made a little corner in our hallway just for "baby stuff" which is lovely. But also a very good ploy in that I can't buy too much!!! He knows me sooo welll.:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -
Love the bump pics Sarah and MV
MV your bump looks really neat – I’m jealous I can’t wait for a lovely bump like that. Mine still looks like half bump half flab. This was mine a couple of days ago at 22w 4d
I was carrying extra weight when I got pregnant so think that’s why it’s taking a while to start coming through.
Bufger that picture is lovely – he looks so adorable. Thank you for sharing
DueMarch Tigtag was induced on Wednesday but she came on yesterday to say it hadn’t worked and she was still in the hospital waiting for something to happen. Hopefully she has got her wish and is having mummy cuddles now
Not much going on here – looking forward to the weekend although we don’t have much planned. OH is going to see Harry Potter tonight but I’m not bothered so am staying at home with a cheesy DVD.
Decided I’m going to try and get a few things done this weekend on my to do list. A bit more Ebay listing, sorting through stuff – clearing out and hopefully make a start on some Christmas presents tooOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170
