I just weighed myself and over the course of the pregnancy so far I have gone from 68kg to 60kg :eek::eek: I'm still not eating too well so I might have to mention this to midwife when I see her in a week and a bit. I'm just worried that bubs won't be getting enough food
It's worth mentioning but bubs will take absolutely EVERYTHING he/she needs so I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it. I lost a lot of weight with first pregnancy as I was sick throughout and thought the same as you but she never suffered and was born at a very healthy 9lb 6oz:D
Talking of which, was sick today but that was the first since Monday  didn't even feel sick, just ate too much I think
Ice I was literally just saying to DH I'm going to be in labour and it will be a case of "Oh !!!!!! better pack my bag" LOL I suppose I should think about it but ..........:D"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Hey everyone.
Vroom, hugs, sorry to hear your news.
Labour vibes to lwcus.
Sammy (it was Sammy wasn't it?) I just got 10 sheets and a blanket from tesco for £29.56. They have some reduced and most are also 3 for 2.
I've been lurking about most of the day. I slept okay last night, but it's been a zombie day here again.
Ooh and I saw on the Mamas and Papas website that the Sola is coming out in 2 new colours, just waiting for pics to go up. Is it really sad that I'm excited by this? :rotfl:
Been arguing with the Asda website and I've just decided we'll have a trip through to the big store in Cumbernauld tomorrow night instead. I might have to have a look at baby things while I'm there... Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -
Ladies, I need your help, AGAIN!
I have bought flat sheets and fitted sheets for the cot but I am not sure about blankets. They say not to use a quilt or fleece blankets and to use cellular ones. Is this advice relevant do you think? They sell feece blankets for baby so they can't be all that bad?Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

Next appointment is 28 weeks, when I will have some bloods taken.
Does anyone know when antenatal classes are arranged?
My MW never got round to telling me about them, so I arranged my own through NCT on the internet. I'd look sooner rather than later as they can fill up quite quickly.
As far as washing clothes goes, I would wash anything especially if new as they apply a finishing chemical to the fabric to make it look and smell 'new' when you get it. It may also have some kind of pesticide to stop it getting bugs while it's in storage. There's a chance that you're baby will be fine with it, but it could easily cause irritation to delicate baby skin. Oooo, I learned something in my Textile GCSE
Good luck Iwcus
Have loads to do tomorrow, so if you spot me on here tell me to get on with things! If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
Hi All!!! Hope you are all doing well
Remember a few days ago someone was posting about being worried their bump was too small. I have just been putting some pics on facebook for friends and family to see who live far away and dont see me much, and got a few comments about how small/cute my bump is. I am very happy with my bump but have to say it feels bigger than it looks. Anyway... I'll stop waffling, just wanted to say to whoever it was worrying (SORRY I cant remember who it was) that they dont need to worry, midwife has never had any concerns over my bump yet ppl always commenting how small I am.
Here is a pic of my bump today at 35 weeks (hope it works!):
