I am just feeling a bit sorry for myself but I don't know why. I have no interest in talking to anyone or playing my FB games or reading or anything like that. I am sitting here with all the baby stuff that we have bought in the corner of the living room and I have no motivation to actually go upstairs and make a restart on the spare room and i feel guilty for thathubby phoned me before lunch and realised the mood I was in so he decided to come home and make me lunch which mafe me feel even more worthless and crappy, as if I can't actually look after my hubby and make him lunch.
I know it's just my hormones but I can't help but feel this way today
I totally understand where you're coming from hun, as have felt like this for ages. Been OK the last few weeks though. Better since I finished my temporary job at a supermarket. Trying to keep busy, but it is difficult. I get bored so easily xHe does realise. I just want to have a moan now to get it out of my system as I dont want to be angry with him during labour.
When DS was born-he was very poorly in NICU for months. I had just had a c-section and traumatic time. Anyway, all I can remember him doing was having a moan because he'd stubbed his toe! Our little boy was very poorly for first 18 months of his life and needed 24 hr care. During this time my DH was very needy, always had a cld or felt run down. Even put his name on waiting list to have knee op that wasn't important for him to have done. I think he plays up when he's not getting enough attention. Gosh, it sounds as if I hate him. I dont- he's lovely and a brill father. He's just such a little boy sometimes.
moan over-feel better now.
xx
Good luck hun! x
Apricot - sorry to hear about the chicken pox! Hope you get better soon!
My MW appointment went wellShe felt baby and said all felt great, and bump is the right size. Wee sample was all clear, blood pressure nice and low. Baby's heartbeat was 148bpm, and she found it straight away. He decided to cooperate and not move away, like he normally does when I use my doppler :rotfl:
Next appointment is 28 weeks, when I will have some bloods taken.
Does anyone know when antenatal classes are arranged?
Got my Pink Lining bag today - fabulous as only ordered it Tuesday evening and got it today (Thursday)! Glad the appt went well Digital. You're so right about the bag, it's only been past year that I have been using MY bags and not lumbering a baby one.

I've decided we're going to buy a pram for ours, my cousin has one she said we could borrow, but tbh I'm not keen on it.
Anyway I am torn between the silvercross 3d and M&P Pliko. Anyone got the Pliko? And if so what's it like?:heart2:Baby boy due 4th March 2011:heart2:0 -
Sorry to just butt in, I've been lurking since starting my maternity leave last week but not really had much to say, just 'people watching' on here lol. Anyway, just wanted to comment on this:Personally I think if they came in packets I probably wouldn't bother but I'd probably wash any stuff that was just on hangers first.
At our antenatal classes first time round, the midwife said to especially wash anything bought in a packet, as the garments are sprayed with some sort of chemical thing before being packaged, to make sure the fibres don't sweat and cause mould or anything while in storage between being packaged and being bought in the shop. They can be months in storage/being transported, so they are treated first to keep them looking and smelling nice and fresh, and whatever it is that is in that 'treatment' can really irritate delicate skin.
Obviously this may not apply to all clothes in packets, but I would wash it just in case of nasties.0 -

Yeah good luck and don't feel like a wally, it's better to be safe and get it checked out. x"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
