Hugs VB, sorry to hear you news xx
lwcus78, sounds more than promising, grr to OH reaction, but half expect an answer like that from my OH when the time comes.
Apricot, not good re chicken pox, hope everything will be ok and you don't get sick.
Labour vibes to MI3 and....someone else sorry brain can't remember.
More hugs to RBG and anyone who'd like some.
Had a bad night sleep wise again, but as people kindly tell me its good practice for the night feeds! OH is in spare room now and think hearing him snore winds me up more when I can't sleep. Even blooming cat snores!

:rotfl::rotfl: I didn't even think of that! Oh no am I renowned as being the filthy minded one here"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
I think the whole midwife situation down here is they have a bit too much control/power - They need to take a step back and realise that our taxes pay for them so in all honesty they are our employee that we hire for the birth of our children. Yes sometimes their advice is really helpful but other times they need to keep their opinions and poor atitudes to themselves - sorry rant over
Especially my SIL!Am I being a drama queen/ over sensitive. Just put the phone down on DH. I phoned him to tell him and he just said "oh gosh, this is awful timing- I'm so busy in work". Also I told him I was busy packing away things in the kitchen in preperation for thw carpanter tomorrow and he said "i'll do that tonight". So he's totally dissmissing the fact that we might be in hospital tonight. I'm busy too, I'm having backache, looking after a 2 yr old and trying to pack up the kitchen.
Nope, you will have to be more direct with him. Subtle obviously doesn't cut it!Rockinbikergal wrote: »I am just feeling a bit sorry for myself but I don't know why. I have no interest in talking to anyone or playing my FB games or reading or anything like that. I am sitting here with all the baby stuff that we have bought in the corner of the living room and I have no motivation to actually go upstairs and make a restart on the spare room and i feel guilty for thathubby phoned me before lunch and realised the mood I was in so he decided to come home and make me lunch which mafe me feel even more worthless and crappy, as if I can't actually look after my hubby and make him lunch.
You are entitled to feel this way when pregnant, can you embrace it and sleep or do nothing for a while?? Hugs. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Madbird - I have the 3D and I love it. Whenever Im down at my dad's (where my pram is) I play with it so much that my dad said that it took him back to when I was a little again playing house and then he got all emotional. It was really sweet actually. I just love my dad so much, I think sometimes my DH feels really pushed out becoz I always rely on my dad so much, but I am hoping that our little girl will be exactly the same as me in that way.
Sorry went totally off course there. Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0 -

Sharkey, thats a lovely thing to say! I miss my dad still, he died 5 years ago next month, we didn't always get on but still had our laughs. I'm just sad he never saw me as a mummy, and he doted over my niece so know he would have been the same with my baby x
Oh forgot to say good news on Mr Sharkey coming home!:j:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -

Since playing scrabble is a euphemism for DTD anyway I don't think that edit helped anyone with a filthy mind either0 -

Aw I know how you feel Madbird, my mum died nearly 2 years ago and she would have just loved to have been a granny and I think that I'm going be a bit sad next few weeks. Dont get me wrong my dad has a new GF now and she is lovely and really is a lovely mother figure but I miss mine and wish she was here to see how I've turned out. Anyways, not gonna get down about it.
Thanks about Mr Sharkey - I am very excited. xx Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0 -
hello all
really want to play scabble now thanks everyone lol. Went to primark today got 2 dresses (£11 each) which have a high elasticated waistband tried them on and they fit perfectly on top of bump so im well chuffed - they'll also be perfect for after the birth toogot a massive snoopy nightie thing (£3) which I got a baggy one so can slip breast trhough arm bit for bf at night
and a pack of 5 big knickers (£1!!!!!!!!) which Im hoping will do for after the birth so I dont mind throwing them away at that price - although I shouldve really got a couple of packs.
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
