EA - I think I'd divorce OH if he bought a PS3 for one game! 5 years ago and he would have done just that. He was in a lot of debt which is how I found this site. But we're nearly through all that now.

I woke up last night with a horrible pain. I'm not sure how to describe it, it's not something I've had before in this whole pregnancy. It's was almost like getting cramp in my abdomen. Is it possible that it's a BH? I'm so worried because it was so painful and I worry what real labour will be like :(

Got my 38 week appointment today (38 weeks today :j) so will bring it up then.

I keep crying cos I'm so scared of labour. I've been so cool about it all until the last week and now I'm just so scared. I've been so dead against an epidural but I've discussed last night with OH that if I ask for one then I mean it.

Twoflower - congratulations :) Thanks for coming back and letting us know. Lots of people have been asking about you.

    RBG - yay for sleep

Possibly be BH, they can get a bit more uncomfortable the nearer you get. I've noticed mine spreading more into my back etc, not so much painful but do make me wince.

I know it's no help, but honestly hun don't be getting all het up over labour and what it will be like, it isn't nice no, but you will cope, your body just takes over and think of what you're getting for your troubles. :) And you're right about the epidural, you don't get a bravery medal at the end, so if you're in pain take what you can. :D

I have soooooooo much to do and getting really frustrated because I don't have the energy, plus I ache like mad. Gonner have a wander to shops soon.

Oh and toothache is back with a vengeance :(. My "wrigleys" DIY filling isn't cutting the mustard anymore, so getting OH to take me to emergency dentist. 4d6qn2s.gif

Jeez I'm a happy little soul today aren't I? :rotfl:

BIG HUGS for Hitchins, my poor bump buddy _pale_...I would cry if I had to go to the dentist atm and I do keep getting niggles

Am using the energy I have today as tomorrow I will probably want to do nothing so hopefully I can get a few bits and bobs done today

Giz - sometimes when you try turn in your sleep your lower ligiments pull or get stuck and it hurts like a b****. My experience is those are worse than labour, labour is pressure and TMI but feeling like you have a dodgy tummy and really need a mega bathroom visit.

That made me lol. When i was in labour with dd2, i was convinced that the pressure WAS me needing a poo. I kept yelling that i need a poo. Then the midwife said "its coming, don't worry, we'll catch it". I said, "what? my poo?".
They were referring to the baby of course, but i was still convinced i was just giving birth to a huge poo. lol

Congratulations Twoflower. Darcy is a cool name. We would definently like to see pics please :D

Teenie, Im a bit more organised than I thought purely as I had a lot already, been buying nappies on the baby events etc and was given a huge bag of clothes on Freegle.
But I still have a lot of wee things to get that I have really gave much though. like bibs, muslins, top and tail bowl, new baby nail clippers and hair brush (my last 2 were born looking like Paul Weller!). Um sheets for the beds, hooded towels.
nothing too expensive but I know Ill use them. Im in no hurry to get them or pack my bag. Im hoping to have a homebirth but ill pack a bag just incase, and it will be there for the birth so OH can get me stuff from it.
Theres probably a lot more I need but my like is so busy and our routine that the baby doesnt factor at the moment :o

I had a horrible dream last night. i was out shopping and then realised id left the baby at home alone, then in the same dream all my teeth were wobbly then fell out

I was going out to take the kids to school this morning and fell down the last stone step outside. I was holding Eva's school bag and a tray of crumbs for the birds. I managed to get my hands down but still landed flat on my tummy. thanksfully my hands took the brunt of it. i have skint knees and hands now.
i know you get more clumsy during pregnancy but im ridiculus. I fell up the same steps just the other day.
heres me walking behind the kids telling them to hold on and take their time.

What horrible dreams.......I might have a nosey for you and see what they mean

As for the clumsiness....I know the feeling....my hubby has me on staircase watch just because I managed to fall down them a couple of times a couple of years ago and now he follows me up them when he is in...I asked him what I supposed to do when he wasn't in and he said 'stay downstairs' yeah right!!! lol...
