Happy birthday hun!! hope you have a lovely day xlilian1977 wrote: »Hi MV - not sure if you're still posting on this thread but hopefully you'll see this.
I decided along with OH and my MW to give up on breastfeeding - we had days of tears and tantrums and I didn't want to remember Sam's early days like that, so we've gone to formula and he's now sleeping brilliantly (well, he did last night, he's still only 5 days old!) and so much less tearful, as am I. I just couldn't get to grips with it and nor could he - it seemed constantly like his mouth was too small and I could never get the directional aim correct.
That's not me telling you to do the same, just sharing my experience. I did post on Facebook about it and got so much wonderful advice and reassurance from friends, I don't know if you can see my profile through the MSE groups but if you can, have a look for the post.
I can't remember if I posted a pic of Sam on here so if not, here he is - if I did, here he is again!

Stop showing off, MV you got the baby to SLEEP other than ON YOU?? I haven't achieved that with either of mine.
What's the secret??Everything is fine. Bump is measureing 26 and the heart beat was fine. She says im an ideal candidate for a home birth. She says we have plenty of time to discuss it but if I want to have one and everything stays ok then ill be having this one in my living room.

:j:j:j:j:j:jAgh! My best friend has just rang me to say that she's just been to the doctor and she's got shingles! I spent the whole day with her Sunday - do I need to give my doctor a call?
You can catch chickenpox from it but only if she has weeping blisters. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
When i first found out I was pg my friend asked if I'd be having a baby shower. I said I wAsnt sure about them and the organising of it would put me off, she said she'd do me a surprise one nearer my EDD. That was last august so I'm not sure if she is still planning on doing one or has foregotten.
She is terrible at replying to texts etc anyway so I wouldn't be surprised if she has forgotten.

Well my best friend is organising the main body of the shower but is under a lot of stress atm so I have taken some of the stuff off her hands, especially with me having time to kill now lolThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
