You get ones and twos with it Digital....just checked mine lol

Is that the one with 6 bottles? That's cool. Saves buying any extra. I'll have a look at the box tomorrow cos I can't remember what I've bought.

  • Glad you are feeling better now RBG!

I'll be sorting out baby stuff and having a new bedroom carpet fitted tomorrow afternoon might pass a bit of time while the forum is down.

Had a lovely nap this afternoon, until DD woke me by standing over me, she gave me the fright of my life!
OH has gotten all the baby stuff down from the loft, there is only one thing missing which is my moses basket stand, I'm sure it was seen recently so it's up there somewhere.

Also, I could slap my blinking mother, I text her to let her know things went well with the doppler scan and she then went off on one that I should be eating more and insinuating that it's my fault that the baby isn't growing because I'm not eating enough! Nothing to do with my blood flow then mother!
I tried to eat more yesterday and I overloaded my system and made myself ill but I am trying to eat little and often but I just can't digest food that well at the moment.
Meh, she made me really angry at the time but I'm over it now, she has only our welfare at heart but she does say some dopey things at times.

Anyway, off to watch a bit of telly before bed, hugs to all bumps. Gonna try and get on before close down tomorrow, hope you all sleep well. x

  • Thanks ladies, that makes perfect sense now :D

This is the one I bought http://direct.asda.com/Closer-to-Nature-Newborn-Feeding-Kit/002659736,default,pd.html it has 4 bottles and a weaning bottle and a soother, which I presume is like a dummy?

Would be great if it came with two different sizes, then I can see which baby likes best. I know it's two different sized bottles, so maybe 2 of each type? I'm gonna look on their website for more info.

God that's taken some catching up!

I've bought this set too - http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Feeding/Steriliser-and-Warmers/Tommee-Tippee-Closer-to-Nature-Essentials-Set%280070825%29 I keep getting TT bottles bought for me so at least I know they'll be right. My BFF bought TT bottles but has the Avent steriliser but it's not the microwave one. Our microwave is so severe I don't think I'd trust it not to explode things in 10 minutes!

DH home. Me Happy and payday :) Bobos and cuddles and time to give DH some bump time.

    ((Hugs)) to all who need.

Seems like you do get two different types. You get one with all the bottles, then two extra, which must be the different size. Guess I'll know for sure when it arrives :rotfl:

Glad I asked though, as I like to be prepared, and there is so much to learn as a first time mum :D Thankies x

ETA: This is confusing. Keep reading different on different sites. Boots say you get 2 x 260ml Closer to Nature bottles with slow flow teats, 2 x 150ml Closer to Nature bottles with slow flow teats, 2 x Medium Flow Teats 0-3m, 2 x Fast Flow Teats 6m and 2 x Pure Soothers 0. Will let you know when it arrives.

I previously had the Avent microwave steriliser, and gave the TT bottles a whirl, and they fit in fine. Getting Avent bottles this time round as babies suck the large teat thingy on TT bottles and end up with a red line on their noses! No big deal, just irritates me. :D Not going to bother with the smaller size bottles either, will just get the 260ml.

Babies r us have some great deals on bottles and sterilisers too. :money:

  • digital - if the bottles are 2 smaller ones and 2 bigger ones then the chances are they'll have 2 different flow teats as the smaller bottles are aimed at newborns and the bigger at 1 month plus.

OH has just flounced off to bed after I shouted at him for not showing enough enthusiasm in my baby shopping list! Could humour me at least! :D
