Big hugs to you RBG :grouphug:
Maybe a rant and a good cry is exactly what you need, so just let it all go.

    ((HUGS)) RBG

re: freezer, can that be covered on your house insurance, if there is a lot of expense to replace the food?

re: mother, she is probably frantic but let her sort out her modem, will take her mind off your dad if nothing else

take deep breaths before speaking to OH - if that was mine I'd be bellowing about the freezer

    RANT AWAY..x

Golly, RBG, sounds like you're having quite a day. Why not order the shopping from tesco's or sainsbury's or Asda? Might cost a smidge more but if you really don't feel up to going out then it's an idea. If all the food in the freezer has defrosted then is there anything you could use right away? Like maybe any frozen vegetables for a soup or something? :S Don't really know what else to say but just hope it all gets better for you today. :) Hugs from eastbourne!

    Hi Ladies and bumps!

Sorry not posted in a while, have been lurking and keeping up with the news. I've been feeling out of sorts, chronic insomnia and permanent worries about how baby is. I'm 18 weeks now, pretty sure feeling movements or flutters, its like being tickled inside, normally starts early evening.

Hope MV, Lilian and Twoflower are all ok. Hugs to those feeling rough, in pain or general worries.

I think I'm struggling to adjust to being at home full time, after finishing work before Christmas. Four walls and the cat not entertaining me much, mum insists i go to hers for lunch so I get out and eat properly!! OH off for 3 days now so someone else to talk at. Claimed JSA on Wednesday, I've promised to look for jobs even though they agreed its a pointless paper exercise until claim MA in 11 weeks.

20 week scan is on 27th...getting impatient now. Consultant is on 3rd Feb so see what she says about age, weight, medical history etc. I've amazed my GP and midwife that I now have perfect blood pressure.

Allowed myself a wander in Mothercare yesterday to look at prices etc, They had the Tommee Tippee electric breast pump half price. I'm waiting til 20 weeks then intend to get first bits.

OBEM - if I'd been next to the screamer I'd have slapped her! Felt sorry for the young lad when partner went off for c-section. Was good to see him show emotion and ask for a hug!!

Sorry for long catch up. oh and big thanks to whoever suggested Love Hearts for heartburn/nausea etc....you are my saviour - currently 4 for £1.00 in Tesco:D
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:
  • Thanks girlies.....I think I will just go to bed and let Hubby deal with everything.....mum rang back to see if we could visit dad tonight and went off at me down the phone when I said I really wasn't feeling up to going and sitting in the hospital......it's just one of those days and I will it try and ignore the rest of today I think lol.....if I don't come back in the next hour or 2 see you insomniacs later.....oh no actually what time does the forum go down at???????

Softlee softlee catchee monkee use your feminine wiles;)

RBG tell agent if you drop the price you'll be moving agents and do they still think that's the answer??

If you do move agents, give them no more than 6 months to sell it and tell them so from the outset. xxx

Annibee - I am so anal when it comes to meny. I have everything worked out to the penny whereas he earns so much that he can afford to be more frivilous.
How have you worked out exactly how much you'll be getting? I have done my exact sums but I still don't know how much that means I'll be getting after tax.
I'm NHS so do get a good deal but I struggle to make ends meet now on full pay.

    Have pm'd you :D

now going to read back on what ive missed today ladies :p
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
